A good isolation exercise for the lat is one arm pulldowns. I sit on a low bench or box under the cable crossover. Pulldown and slightly arch your body to the side at the end of the movement to get a good contraction. Let me know if you understand what I am trying to say here.

Cool, you can also lean to the outside slightly at the top to get a better strectch if you like.  Smiley

I just did them today (on smith machine).

I too thought they would be uncomfortable, but they are AWESOME.

Probably the best chest pump i've gotten. Delts seem like they don't even get worked, upper chest was screaming!

I did them a few days ago and they made a stretch mark on my chest slightly longer  Sad 
Definitely felt it all in the chest though, good pump.

Did crossovers first did about 8 sets on there, got a crazy pump.

Then did the bench to the neck! WOW!! totally isolates the chest i didnt feel it in my shoulders or tris or nothing, just UPPER CHEST! that was awesome.

Then i went and did a few sets of flyes got a maximum pump, then moved to triceps!!!

Great workout! thanx Jim, i really really felt my chest pump up with blood doing this.

Did you use the smith machine mate?

I know this was directed at Flexington, but i did them and i used the smith machine.

Felt fine, very good exercise.

I may try them on the free weight bench, but i would want someone spotting me on my heavier sets.

I tryed them a few years ago,but have a dodgy shoulder and found they agravated it a bit..

Id love to try them again but maybe will superset them with incline cable flyes first to pre exaust so that way ego doesnt tell me to add more plates when I really shouldnt  Grin

It's funny you say that they aggravated your delts, because the thing i noticed is that my delts felt like they were hardly getting worked at all...

Jim is there a higher risk of negative health with the consumption of a high fat( from eggs, steak, chicken thighs, etc.) high protein low carb diet long term?

and did moe elmossawi ruin his physique with insulin use or can he correct it?? comparisons from this year and last year

I don't think Moe has done anything different in preparing for this years IM than what he did last year.. However, last year he had troubles which caused him to drop some weight (flight delays/ dehydration) and as result (almost accidentally) that resulted in a better showing in 08. Check out last years corresponding interview on PBW (02/25/08)

I pretty much am not interested in these shows anymore. It is one of the reasons that I stopped training people. I am not a fan of what they are rewarding nowadays.

I just did 22 sets for chest lol. Im forcing that fucker to grow  Shocked.

that included 5 sets of neck bench presses. Fuck those hurt ( in a good way Grin )
