I'm baffled by the number of people who have put emotion before logic in this case.
yes, they didn't like Dave. Yes, Amanda was innocent. Yes, Dave was dirty.
But to report AS NEWS that it was murder/suicide, when all they had was their 'gut feeling', is amateur journalism at its finest. They had no evidence - the police had said NOTHING, and they soiled Dave's name by printing that. 24 hours later, we're hearing Dave was shot twice, meaning it was obvious to the police from minute one that it was a homicide and not a suicide.
A few bodybuilding media outlets blamed Dave, and they did this without evidence. I'm not defending the guy - sounds like he was a snitch who crossed the wrong person. And Amanda's part is so very tragic - she did nothing but be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Prayers for her and her family.
Back to point - bodybuilding "news" needs to stick to FACTS and not emotion. You want credibility as a "real" sport but you write articles based upon your 'gut feeling', and not the facts of the case.
