Fist of the Northstar was the first manga/anime that had "Big Beef it Betil".

FONS is the best 'muscle' anime. Best anime series is Cowboy Bebop. Best OAV is Trust and Betrayal (hence my avatar) and Ninja Scroll.

There's another anime series called grappler fighter baki - pretty nasty with fighters ripping out optic nerves and stuff. Similar to rhe violence of North star

Baki is great, although it's ridiculously stupid at times. I prefer the manga over the anime though.
