New Polls show Obama up by 6 points now
« on: July 25, 2008, 05:19:19 PM »
After new polling he's gained 3 more points in 1 day since his big Berlin speech.  As i predicted his lead will grow in the coming weeks.  Also now McCain agrees with Obamas 16 week withdrawal from Iraq ::)

LOL.....what polls are you looking at? Even the lib ABC pole has McCain closing in FAST.

BTW, did you hear Obama say in a speech "I've visited 57 states with 1 to go" or " I predict when I'm President for the next 10 years" "Israel supports Israel".

and there's plenty more.

Whats funny is when McCain makes mistakes it's old age and the media makes an issue of it, but when Obama says stupid crap no one says a word. Epic liberal media bias!!

Obama didn't visit the wounded troops because he wasn't allowed to bring the press with him, that being said he chose not to go.

The poor black man has already been Hollywoodized and deeply socialistized.

America is a spartan type of Nation. This cowardise should not be tolerated.

Thats ok though, he a "constitutional scholar" LOL!

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, the reputed "Constitutional scholar," just today said on CBS's Face the Nation that he went to Iraq to talk to important leader that he expects to be "dealing with over the next eight to 10 years." So, does this "Constitutional scholar" not realize that there is this little thing called the 22nd Amendment that holds a president to only two, four year terms? Um, that would be a grand total of only 8 years, Barack, not 8 to 10. Of course, the big question is, will we see this idiot gaffe race through the MSM as it would if a Republican had said it?

At the very least ABC's Jake Tapper, one of the best political reporters in the biz, sure noticed. Tapper has a blog entry on his "Political Punch" blog all about it with an amusing side note about time travel added in just for fun.

" I predict when I'm President for the next 10 years" "Israel supports Israel".

...Oh, sorry. I thought you were misquoting him, when in fact you were actually deliberately misquoting him.

I don't know why, but I've watched and re-watched that video, and each time I hear him say "...who I expect to be dealing with over the next eight to ten years".

I can't hear the "as president" bit... and I certainly can't hear the "I predict when I'm President for the next 10 years" bit.

Wouldn't he be dealing with all three heads of state mentioned (Kharzi, Malachi, Sarkozy) for the next ten years even if he just remained a senator? Or do American term limits and election timetables apply to Afghanistan, Iraq and France too?

...forgot that. Anytime anyone (or reality) disagrees with what FOX News has told him to think he gets all pissy.

Suppose he won't mind me posting that as he dismisses the arguments of anyone who hasn't accepted Santa Claus as their personal saviour.

Obama has had some bad gaffes but you're right, they don't get much coverage.  Everyone who is publicly speaking every day is going to have a lot of screw ups but Obama has some that approach the Bush level.

Here are a few choice blunders I found (there are a lot!):

"Well let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israel's."

"Israel is an ally of ours. It is the most important ally we have in the region, and there is no doubt that we would act forcefully and appropriately on any attack against Iran nuclear or otherwise."

"If I talked to Iran, I'm going to tell them, 'You should develop a nuclear weapon. It's going to set off an arms race in the Middle East. You have to stop funding terrorist activities.' "

"Our troops fight and die in 20-degree heat to give Iraq's leaders the space to agree, but they aren't filling that space."

"I would immediately call the president of Mexico, the president of Canada to try to amend NAFTA.. "

"My father served in World War II, and when he came home, he got the services that he needed."  [Completely false]

"I had an uncle who was one of the -- who was part of the first American troops to go into Auschwitz and liberate the concentration camps."     [Auschwitz was liberated by the Soviets!]

"On this Memorial as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes, and I see many of them in the audience here today."   [he sees dead people???]

"The time has changed for come."

"The Time For Come Has Changed."
