i doubt it is since i ve seen trainers force newbie sit on an exercize ball and do alternate bicep curls.

Look at my last show, I included alot of functional training in my routein along with the basics. What I would really love to do is turn bodybuilder into an athlete. Could you imagine the power and intimidation factor alone would be awesome ;D

Ok, what would you have bodybuilder change about his training to make him more of a athlete. I'm a former powerlifter turned bodybuilder and I consider myself very athletic.

Well, having a skill in the sport of choice helps. But other than that, assessments would have to be done to help in the design of the program. I don't do "cookie cutter" programs.

Jason, I read your post. But when I said I haven't seen a sound routein on any board on here.......I will take that back and just add I haven't seen yours. But seeing who you train with and who you mentor after, I'm sure it's a sound routein for what you do. But the routeins that I have seen on here are missing alot of components that should be included but isn't. Again, all I see is sagittal plane movements and very little of anything else exept for maybe lateral movements for delts.

I see.  I can agree with you in that sense.

Agreed. Covers almost everything. Lats, biceps, pecs, rhomboids(depending on your grip), triceps, quads and glutes

Deadlifts - Prefer them to squats and i feel you can go heavier safer as you can drop the weight if any muscle strains. 
Clean and Press - Works whole body and if i could only do 3 exercises i feel it's more a more beneficial 'push' movement and relates much more to every day strength/activities.
Pull Up - Self explanatory.
Abandon every hope...

Those would be my choices also.  Squat=pretty much whole lower body and lower back. Chins=great for lats and will hit bis and rear delts some. Inclines=chest, delts and tris.  Just about covers the whole body to some degree.

Shit someone might even do good on a routine like that.
