Back in bodybuilding mode after the longest lapse...
« on: September 03, 2008, 08:39:16 PM »
.. I almost gave up. I felt dirty just thinking about bodybuilding, men in speedos & all the drugs + crime.

Already gaining back the little of the legendary mass I lost this summer.

Being low carbing for 6 days, tomorow is my high carb day.

Standing solid at 245lb, arms already getting round and full, chest popping out like two contiental plates.

Pics to come. The Beast23 is back.

Nothing wrong with bbing (for yourself). I live bbing, I just don't care for the "competitive" side of it. It's a shitty industry from top to bottom, but I still love bbing. Therefore, I continue to do it, for me.

Competitive bodybuilding is a playground for homosexual schmoes that pray on the weak minds of despertate competitors.
It is a depraved industry. :-\

Much appreciated. I've learned moderation and listening to the body from you. Bodybuilding has tendencies for extremism but it doesn't need to be.

Off for almost 4 months now... Muscle memory is kicking in. From what I've seen it does kick back in even after 18yrs. ;D

The sport and mirror can fck with your mind...The faster you can train and be in and out of the gym, the better...Unless your doing it for a living...The truth is everything you really need to know can be obtained from a book or two from the 70's...Everything after that is just static and propaganda from protein companies and those who have an agenda in said companies...

Alex you could train less then 30 minutes a day 4 to 5 times a week and manipulate your diet and look better then 99% of the population...It wouldn't take anything other then diet for you to walk around at 8% bodyfat at around 215 to 220 and look sick...

When you start getting caught up in all the other BS...It will eventually get the best of ya...

You've read my mind TechnoV. That is exactly what I'm doing right now / shooting for.

Maintainability; not spending fucking 10 hours a weeks lifting weights while having to endure shmoes / college kids; be in and out within 30-45mins is the key.

A full frame like mine will look decent at 220lb 8%bf.

Alex if you ever get to 8% bodyfat i'll break down and cry.

If you do then great, but I can't see it happening, you have said you were dieting for years and always something crops up to stop you (probably KFC), so I just don't see you ever being thin.

Good luck however

I never saw the point to do so and had higher priorities and have a very high paying job.

Clinging to a 7.99 plastic trophy and watching my abs in the mirror never made sense to me.

BTW, why use gimmicks to spread your honesty?
