I can't believe suckmymuscle is saying it takes 37.5 hours for sucrose to leave the duodenum. This guy is crazy.

  You people are obviously illiterate and can't unerstand basic English. I said that the combined processes of digestion, assimilation, synthesis and excretion as a general rule take 24 hours. I never said that digestion take 24 hours, nor did I claim especifically that the digestion of glucose takes 24 hours.
