Well boys, after two years of drinking almost daily I have decided to check myself into a 3 months rehab program.

good thing is Im completly covered through insurance and they have a nice gym in there, a recreation center, hot tub and a bunch of other nice stuff.

I recently had my liver checked and the dr said I had a 40 year old liver at my age of 27. So the drinking has got to stop.

I have been, 3 times actually. It was easy to stay clean while in there, but I wasn't down with the 12 step bullshit and the meetings sucked. I looked at it as more of a drug vacation by the third time(and an easy detox), cuz I knew it wasn't going to work. At any rate, I haven't used any drugs(besides valium) since January 7th, this time I used Suboxone for three months, no rehab. I wish I could say I was happier sober, but it is what it is. Alcohol is to him what blow or speed might be to someone else. A true alcoholic can drink everyday and not only live a normal life, but in many cases do things better.

I never understood how one can get addicted to booze. I feel absolutely miserable for days when I had too much. How does it work to get addicted? Serious question.
