For me people always say not to do dumbell kickbacks, its a girls exercise, to light, just do close grips, bla bla bla. I have found it to be a great move, if done with a light weight and a special way. Bent over on a flat bench, 1 knee on the bench, elbow up as in the final part of a dumbell row, and held way up there. Now to complete the rep do 1 sec. up, 1 sec. contracted, and 1 sec. down. When your arm is straight, you should give it an extra 1 sec. squeeze. Go fairly light and rep it out. Hits the long head extremely well, and cramps the hell out of it.
