Well I don't see me becoming famous from something like that. I haven't decided yet, but I may leave the Arnold jr character behind me at some point...I don't know.

I do feel like because of the website that at some point I will need to be more of an actual person so to speak...I can't live under a fake name over there. It just doesn't look good.

When it comes to getbig, having a fake name, who cares? People can take what you say as truth or bullshit, it doesn't matter. It would matter in this case IMO.

If I do leave the Arnold jr name and put him to rest at some point, I hereby make this decree:

Upon the passing of Arnold jr, Luv2Hurt will immediately take his place as getbig.com steroid info & hardcore Mod.

Your probally right about what you said about yourself, probally a need to be a person as you move forward, you can do that no problem.

And thanks to you and DIV for saying i would be a good mod.  Means a lot comming from 2 top mods/names in this game.

I think you'd make a good Mod because you aren't so emotional about everything.

But if you do become a Mod you'll need to use the "delete" function ALOT.   :-X

You have my vote also Luv! I think you'd do a fine job, and as DIV said you have a pretty level head.

From DSM IV: "SUBSTANCE ABUSE:
One or more of the following:

FAILURE TO FULFILL MAJOR OBLIGATIONS
USE WHEN PHYSICALLY HAZARDOUS
RECURRENT LEGAL PROBLEMS
RECURRENT SOCIAL OR INTERPERSONAL PROBLEMS

With SUBSTANCE ABUSE the user has a choice: he/she uses in spite of illegal, unsafe consequences, or inappropriateness of the drinking/drugging experience.

SUBSTANCE DEPENDENCE (ADDICTION/ALCOHOLISM)
Three or more of the following:

TOLERANCE
WITHDRAWAL
LARGE AMOUNTS OVER A LONG PERIOD
UNSUCCESSFUL EFFORTS TO CUT DOWN
TIME SPENT IN OBTAINING THE SUBSTANCE REPLACES
   SOCIAL, OCCUPATIONAL OR RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
CONTINUED USE DESPITE ADVERSE CONSEQUENCES"

Use and Abuse are really dependant on perspective.

If I'm a functioning AAS user, I'll live with that.   ;D

Not really.

The definition is right there in black and white.  :)

The definition from the DSM is so conceptually rigid, what input do you think Junaid would have on this?

I'm not sure he'd agree.

The definition is the definition, there's nothing to 'agree' on.

No matter how you slice it some people who use drugs are addicts. Changing the drug name doesn't affect the definition one bit, LOL!

Functional addiction is a cop out, especially if people use daily or can't function without the drug(s).

My three children are in the house with me right now. They're the only people I'm responsible for.

People should have these talks with themselves.

We both know you. Should I have a talk with you? :)

I was just answering the question on if steroid use qualifies as being addictive. That's it. People can read the definition and decide on their own.

its very hard mentaly, its hard when your off for a while as u stop gettn those big pumps.. if u stick at it and keep the training and eating up you wont look as bad as u think, depending if youve had a good natural base to start with...

I used to compete at 16.7st and walk around at 19st pluss,, now im walking around at 16.7 with abbs and a little bit size that i can easily maintain even with a sack load of injuries, no more walkin round like a gorrilla, look good at the gym/beach/bedroom/nightclub, so thats enough to keep me happy..

my advise to anyone coming off after some heavy use is to realy taper down..if it doesnt feel right go back on again with lighter dose and taper down again and so on and so on,,, but as i mentioned, if u didnt have a good natural base to start with, you might be in for a shock..

And even tho i am happy with how i look now, id still jump at the chance to gear up again and force feed etc etc if my dodgy joints healed up,,,, so your never realy cured, you always think theres another bang left in you....

I'd argue that steroids are highly addictive but doing a full study would harm individuals and wouldn't be legal. I still believe people should do what they will but just be honest about the risks.

The number one reason for prescription drug non-compliance in men is sexual dysfunction. For example, it means that most guys in heart failure would rather have a hard dick than live. How addictive must a substance be for someone to feel a limp dick is worth taking it when the typical male would literally rather die than lose sexual function?

I think it's time for you to turn to the Darkside, doctor.

It's been calling your name for awhile now.

HRT awaits, my son.   :-\

I'm in decent enough shape for a guy my age, LOL!

If my Star Wars  knowledge is correct, wasn't the Dark side based upon fear? :)

It's all a matter of perspective, Jake.

For some, fear is based on love, isn't that how George Bush got elected President?

Others believe that love sets you free.

The Darkside is all things to all people.

You're arguing semantics with me Jake.

What's really on your mind, bro?

I know something's bothering you.

The definition, is the definition, is the definition... semantics don't have anything to do with it. :) It's not like I made a crack head comparison, LOL! Someone asked and I answered.

Either way, I don't see what the big deal is or why classifying certain behaviors and substances as addictive is offensive. Classifications don't affect use and you've probably read enough to get that addiction is defined independent of the drug used.

Jake,

I sense something amiss with you.

Girlfriend and everything going smooth?

Something must be out of sorts.

Amiss? No.

I simply answered a question and can't see what the big deal is. If the difference in opinion were over semantics, we'd be saying the same thing.

I don't have any issues with guys who supplement. Heck, one of the guys I used to train with needed sups and couldn't work out when off. Nice guy but I sort of felt a little bad for him. He had this hot GF with a seriously thick, round booty but she didn't appreciate on of the side effects and dumped him. Bad part is she let everyone know about his 'issue' at the gym.

When on, dude was jacked and I couldn't keep up because he never got tired.
