I'll try going up in protein
but lifting heavy is not for me, when I went volume I gained an inch in my arms in 2 weeks or so, then I switched to heavy weights 155 pound barbell curls, 250 pound tricep pushdowns
and I lost 2 inches in my arms
.......I can do pulldowns with the whole rack but my back aint as big as it is strong

you have to balance the weight to make it heavy enough that you keep the focus on the muscle, and not the tendons by using momentum.
i would start by just doing your normal 10 - 12 rep max and only do sets of 6. slowly increase reps each workout until you are doing sets of 8 then increase the weight and drop the reps back to 6. increase by 1 rep in each excercise every workout. this will allow you to get used to the lower reps, but still enable you to focus on the contraction. if you like do a pump set at the end of these heavy sets. i'm not making this shit up - its backs by science.

here let me explain soemthing maybe you dont quite know
fats dont make you fat (without insulin its tough to store fat)
carbs dont make you fat ( de nova lipogensis is limited and carbs rarely go to fat )
fats + carbs make you fat ( in presence of elevcated insulin fats very very easily enter adipose)
here let me explain something you clearly dont know
ever heard of ASP - Acylation Stimulating Protein.
Fat does make you fat, its the easiest macro nutrient to convert to bodyfat. Eating excess calories with fat = fat gain, and thanks to ASP sometimes a repartitioning effect is seen on maintenence calories leading to fat gain.
Candy you tried atkin while fat, it worked for you because your body had insulin issues, or you were eating too much. the high fat diet helped control you insulin spikes, or lower your overall calories due to being fuller or maybe both.
AXA is already skinny, despite eating 600-700 carbs a day - he clearly has no insulin issues, so top add fat would be wreckless imo.
