I would ljust like to say that homosexual men make me very uncomfortable but I believe they should have equal rights as well even though I am nervous about them and don't like to think about them having sex.

I don't dislike any homosexual except for Rosie donnell and Derek anthony.

But they still deserve to marry each other.

True dat.  Some people *love* a fight, no question...and many of those same people *want* to be persecuted, even though they're making $400,000/year and own a home in Hidden Hills.  Yeah, persecute ME! lol

The cause would have lost momentum with it's most attention grabbing issue resolved.

Currently, we have bigger problems then homos getting married. Just let them get married, so we can deal with the issues at hand.

No, HT!!!

It's the world's most important issue and further evidence about how the religious right has hoodwinked blacks. :)

I think polygamy should be legalized as well as homosexual marriage. Just let people live their lifestly. They aren't hurting anyone!

Sacramento here.  Huge crowd, excellent speakers, good support by the police.

It's definitely going to be up to us straight guys (and women) with big voices and a lot of passion to bring America into the light.

Hey, now you're being good!   :)

it's up to EVERYONE!  it really pisses me off....they've actually determined that it was largely the obama-supporting black voting population that enabled the prop to pass.  you're black, aren't you, tre?  wtf happened???  "we want change!....but the fags can't be happy"   god DAMN aren't they all fighting for the same thing?

yeah...similar props in states like connecticut...and vermont....where they now
ALLOW gay marriage.......

wow you really don't pay attention to shit, do you???
that's why there's such an uproar....people thought gay marriage would still be legal in
california and be banned in the other states....but the opposite happened.
christ go buy a newspaper.  I hope you don't ever talk politics in social circles.

Dude the people voted and they decided they didn't want some deviant group getting the right to call their buttf(cking buddies their husbands.  It's a democracy, you guys lost.

Get over it.  I'm so sick of these "persecuted" gays.  Once they get this, it will be something else.

What kind of people go to others places of worship and harass them?  That is just low.

yes...because a democracy should certainly have the right to choose who is allowed to love who.
and whatchoo mean, who would go to others' places of worship to harass them????  the fucking churches themselves do it every day! EVERY fucking day they protest whatever shit they think is wrong. EVERY day.

I find it ironic....every person who is against gay marriage says things that are just so unintelligent and poorly thought out.  how close-minded are you??  if gay people shouldn't be allowed to get married, stupid people shouldn't be allowed to speak.   ;)

What are you talking about?  No one is telling you who you can or can not love.  People voted on whether a deviant group should be allowed to call their partnership marraige.  They voted to ban it, essentially.

I personally don't care either way...I would certainly be against if the sanctity of marraige was respected in this country, but it clearly is not so if gays want to marry I wouldn't go out of my way to stop them.

I was referring to gay protestors in Cali who went and interrupted Sunday church services in a Mormon church.  What right do they have to harass people while they are trying to pray/worship, whatever.

I'm not sure what churches you are talkin about protesting whatever they think is wrong EVERY day.  My church (well the church i went to growing up) certainly rarely protests. They respect others rights to have their own viewpoint.  Most intelligent people would realize that protesting in a provocative and aggressive manner usually doesn't accomplish much.
Valhalla awaits.

have you ever watched porn?  ...if so, you're a deviant.  deviant.

and you don't call the Mormon religion spending $22million to stop gay marriage "aggressive"?

you said the church you went to growing up "rarely" protested. um, "rarely" is still protesting.

if holding hands and showing signs of peace and love is "provocative" to you...well shit...you must
have some deeeeep-ass suppressed emotions and issues.

I'd fight to my dying breath for my sister to have the right to marry her hot famous girlfriend.
