Teaching is cool, if that's what you really want to do. I came back to teaching (5/6 in the States) after 7 years in the 'corporate' merry-go-round.  Money isn't as great, but teaching is a better fit.  It can be difficult at times...but really, what isn't at times?  I agree with some of the other comments, go slow, learn from your mistakes and (try) to remain positive.

Good Luck.

ditto..lol Grin

one day religion will make way for scientology...or perhaps there'll be a choice between 2 bullshit fiction histories and the real one?

wtf is wrong with this world so that we have millions of people walking around denying the truth?- thats the crux of all of our problems.

i cant think of a single event where religion has actually helped the world progress.

can anyone else?

scientology ? the fake rambings of a pervert ? that tells of an alien that set off a giant nuclear bomb to start life  Roll Eyes oh brother.

I'm teaching in highschool right now and it's great!

Don't take yourself too seriously is the only advice I would give you. Those kids will fuck up your brain if you take shit too personal.

Otherwise, it's great! You make a full salary working "part time" (summer recess, usually home by 4...) so you have plenty of time to start a business, study, be a good father, train ....

I'm currently doing my MBA in management while I work so I quickly became assistant principal in my school, having a decent salary at an early age (75k at 26), plus all the revenue from my business ventures...

Teaching is great, period.

I've thought about becoming a teacher or school counselor primarily for all the time off.

From what I've seen in the news lately, teachers get plenty of fresh ass as well.   Smiley
