I don't really care about measurements, bodyfat and shit.. but standing at 245 ish on a 5'10" frame, I'm pretty sure I can diet down a little and still be massively owning the detractors.

Thats him in 5 years...or less...depends how miserably he will fail to diet again and rebound on the junk food.
I think some greater traps workouts would bring everything around a little better for you.
