i dont think to your nose counts as "deep reps" on shoulder press. And also different smith machines feel different, I've done 225 on one smith machine, shoulder presses, and another i couldnt even do 95, assuming of course the bar actually weighs 45 lbs, which in most cases the smith machine bar only weighs 15 lbs, which is what causes most people to say "i can bench more in the smith than i can regular barbell bench".

You call that deep?  That's a half rep.  Also it's easier on a smith machine.

Couple things. first off....deep reps my ass. Secondly, that's a smith so that's not 315.  pretty strong dude though.

I would def. have to agree with the above comments you might have wanted to keep the "deep reps" (especially in capitals) out of the title cause those were anything but...

i think he was being sarcastic although those weren't terrible reps, i've seen much worse, the guy is actually very big and strong and has great development, he probably could have gotten 5-6 all the way down.

exactly, they weren't that bad at all, we used to have these two young guys at my old gym who would do reps literally to the top of their heads and that was on a good day and try to use 275-315 on the free barbell and then they'd do the same thing on behind the necks with 245-265, stupid shit.

I agree I use about the same range of motion to avoid any tears....all the way strong guy and serious weight nicely done my man...

Yes but I've had the account for ages - I though it might be my internet settings but it's only started happening in the last few days or so .

youtube was acting up on me the other day too, no gap but the videos just wouldn't start for me.

I've done 3 plates for 3 full reps on seated delt presses on the smith machine. That was DAMNED hard. Making it to 15 full reps with 3 plates will be very tough. full reps are quite a lot harder.
That being said, I still think he has ok strength and development. Looks better than most lifters.
