Sorry, I don't put much credence into what people say when they're going on news shows doing damage control.  He's much more believable when he's saying what he thinks - not when trying to clean up a mess.

240, I heard the interview and in the full context his words make sense from his viewpoint.  I want socialist and big gov ideas to fail too...but I am hoping Obama does not do this.  I am wishing him to succeed with a combination of moderate compromises.  The only criticizm I have so far is that I am not in favor of this huge bailout...another bailout.

Rush Limbaugh is so dishonest.  He carried water for the GOP for years, despite anything they did, and still is lying about it.

I did not vote for Obama, and in fact campaigned for McCain as part of the GOTV.

HOWEVER I am giving Obama a fair chance.  After the mess GWB, Paulson, and the rest of these clowns caused, I find it hard to believe Obama can be any worse.

Additionally, anyone rooting for him to fail, regardless of their politics, is a traitor in my mind.  If he fails, the nation fails.  

I think he will fail if he tries to push socialism and crazy liberal causes, but that remains to be seen.

Rush has NEVER apologised for anything he has said or anything the medsia attributed to him that he never said.Unlike gutless,spineless idiots like Obama,Rush actually believes in what he says.He also doesnt have prepared remarks or nered a teleprompter like Obama.He is smart enough to think on his feet which is his show has 21 million listeners.

I tried giving Obama a chance for patriorisms' sake.    But after seeing the crap with the Stim Bill right from Day 1, it was obvious what a complete trainwreck this Admn would be.

actually I never came out as loving the guy.  I made it pretty clear that I really didn't want McCain.  Over and over and over back then, I justified my choice by pointing out what I thought McCain would do.

I've read portions of his stuff and of course gone through a lot of similar materal by like minded.  I don't have much time to read these days but I have an account with audible so I'll see if it's on there.  That way I can listen to it while I'm working.  I've wanted to read it so thanks for reminding me.
