Just curious...but what do you base your opinions on?

Q2- Have you ever competed in a BB show before?

Q3- What is your height and size (or do you have pics you've posted)?

How much protein do you advocate? For the natural and for the enhanced. Increase/decrease protein when dieting?

How much is too much protein? Do you think what Martin Kjellstrom does is excessive (1000 grams a day)? I'm pretty sure Tom Prince said he did like 400 grams a day and was huge as well. 400 grams is far from 1000 grams though.

seems like a pretty sensible stack, nothing too crazy, you use a lot of supplements, that shit must be costly, your whole food diet is pretty similar to what i do although i probably eat bigger meat portions than you to make up for the lack of whey powder.

Quaker, are you trying to pack on size? Or stay where you are at?

Well, I haven't seen him eat but I don't think it's too far from the truth. He only eats like 100 grams of carbs a day so it doesn't add up to a huge amount of calories. I know he drinks TONS of whey protein. I remember even many years ago he was picking up 5kg of whey each week from a supp store my buddy worked at (my buddy is now his coach).

people who trian with weights use protein mor effeciently than sedentary individuals and only need to consume about .5g per kilogram body weight per day in order to sustain nitrogen balance

niotrogen balance means your neither gaining nor losing muscle, you must increase nitrogen retention, or else its impossible to increase muscle size.

eating protein stimulates protein synthesis as well as protein breakdown.

protein consumption stimulates an increase in igf-1 , glucoagon release, keeps blood sugar levels stable, increases leucine content in blood.

prtoein consumption(in meat form) is roughly 2 to 3 times more thermogenic than carb and fat consumption

haha, security probably like "oh brother, what is this community coming to" after they went to see what the little guy was getting all worked up and sweaty over and saw him typing feverishly with dudes in thongs all over the screen.

the gear would play much more of a factor than the protein.

then again i may be wrong as i have probaly ate more than 200g protein in one day 5 times maximum

i have no idea to be honest.

i am not big into researching training nutrition etc nor do i know much.

i just like going to the gym lifting weights and eating lots.

I try not to get too involved in it as at the end of a day its just a hobby for me

gee, first time hearing that one  ::)

this is where the problem is. You go by what you read. Yet you dont do any further research into it. So basically your philosophy is this:

Well, "they say" you need to eat more to grow.

5000 calories huh? What are you eating? junk food?

and how much weight have u put on? If you put on 20 lbs or something, then i guarantee about 18 lbs of that is water/fat.

The “research” is called trial-and-error, what he has done with his own physique. He knows FIRSTHAND that he needs to consume more protein in order to grow. I know that to be a fact, myself, because that’s what it took for me to grow. It took more than 180 grams of protein just to get him to 230. What makes you think that he's going to get bigger by consuming LESS?

From all appearances, you keep dredging up excuse after excuse, as to why you can’t/won’t consume enough protein to get the results you really seek.
