that cop prolly got his ass kicked by dudes from getbig when he was younger, now hes a cop and wants to take all that pent up aggression from being a punk out on the world.sad but true.my brother in law is a police seargent in north jersey, every christmas he gets drunk and starts taking out his gun showing it to everyone and im like wtf bro, theres little kids in the house bro,hes like its not loaded bro,but i tell him this is a day of peace and happiness and flashing a gun around just doesnt fit into that category imo.then he takes out his night stick and starts telling me to let him put me in a hold with his night stick,i tell him no bro just relax,he insists cause hes piss drunk,so to make a long story short i always break his hold cause hes drunk and then he tries to wrestle me to the ground,i end up choking him out and my sister whos married to him gets pissed at me and tells me to leave,i never leave though cause its at my parents house.everyone agrees that hes the one who starts the bullshit every year,i just want to relax at christmas man and enjoy be with family and friends, not worry about getting accidentilly shot cause of a over aggressive drunk police seargent, lol.one year he took out his gun and started making threats towards me in a way he felt was funny after i choked him out,but i didnt think it was funny at all.i told him its not appropiate for 2 grown men 2 be doing combat around a christmas tree with all your relatives around, lol.he does the same thing every year,i just found out he has like 8 or 9 situations with internal affairs for excessive force issues on motorists, gee why aint i suprised, lol

Anyone surprised the carjacker is....?  Anyone surprised she was a mouthy ghetto chick?

Carjacker?   ::)  And what makes you say she was a ghetto chick? psst - your prejudices are showing
Did either her or her father sound like they were from a ghetto. Her father sounded pretty well spoken to me.

She was a kid who along with her friend, took her friend's Mother's car without permission.
There was no carjacking. She did a stupid thing... the same stupid thing I did when I was a teen.
I took my mom's car out for a drive without permission. My mom looked out the window, just in time to see her car going down the street and immediately reported it stolen. (She just didn't know I was the one driving it)  :P

I got pulled over by what at the time looked like six of the biggest cops I'd ever seen in my life.  ;D

I quickly explained to the officers: "The car isn't stolen, ...it's my mom's"

The office radio's it in, ...and I hear the dispatcher who is still on the phone with my mother saying:
"The victim says her daughter is at home in bed" {gulp} So now I sheepishly tell the officer:
"Tell her to go look in my bedrooom", who relayed it to the dispatcher, who then passed it on to my mom.

Mom checks my bedroom, ...and guess who's no there?  ;D

At the time, I didn't even have a driver's license, ...so a cop car had to be dispatched to my house to pick up my mother to drive her to the location, so she could drive the car back. It was either that or call a tow truck.

Man was my mother ever royally pissed off! Hilariously, not so much for my having taken the car,
...but because there was the possibility that the neighbours might've seen her having to get into a police car.  ;D

There is no excuse for that kind of an assault on a 15 year old child. I don't care how lippy she was.

ghetto people usually put on an intellectual act when on the news or public speaking. its quite deceitful.

i also took my moms car out when i was younger with no license and got pulled over by the cops right by my house, so luckily they did not find it necessary to arrest me. but thats neither here nor there. the point is, the bitch definitely had a foul mouth and got some pretty direct and effective punishment. if "assaults" like this didnt stir up such a wave of controversy among our wishy washy society then bitches like these would think twice before running their mouths.

Correction...you STOLE your mother's car.  Taking without permission is stealing.  This 15 year old chick stole a vehicle and was arrested accordingly.

One of the reasons why cops get shot...and then people are bo-hooing.  I've seen cops get pop for domestic (the woman was beaten like a rag doll) and they get a 6 figure bond, they post it right away fearing they don't get thrown in Gen Pop, you  see who really has the power

exactly right, just b/c it was your mom or her friends mom doesnt mean its not stealing jag...the dude definitly over reacted and shouldnt not be on the street imo i would be ok with him behind a desk or security or something. That being said the girl is a little shit and did intentionally flip her shoe at him which it did hit him and she lied about.

If that's what you want to call it, ...I won't quibble. I used the phrase I used to differentiate between someone whose intent it is to permanently deprive the owner of the vehicle (ie: selling it to a chop shop) and someone who is temporarily using the vehicle without the knowledge of the owner with every intent to return the vehicle in the same condition. PS: Do we know the 15 yr old stole the vehicle, ...or was she simply along for the ride? And do we know that she was aware her friend didn't have permission to take the car. It's quite possible she didn't know. Then again, it's possible she did know and was fully complicitous. The point is WE don't know. All we've seen so far is a law enforcement officer abusing a child. There is no justification for what he did. Now he may lose his job, ...he's engendered hatred and animosity in another, if not multiple members of the community, and made the profession of his colleagues that much harder, and a little more dangerous, ...for what... to dominate a child? What a winner!  ::)

LOL its still stealing jag, hahah ok ill go take my neighbors car without permission but dont worry ill bring it back sooner or later. ::) your arguement is just plain silly. The car was stolen plain and simple watch the video and she will say that they where borrowing the car without permission which means she knew they where stealing. LOL I LOVE HOW YOU ASSUME THAT HE MAY HAVE VIOLATED OTHERS IN THIS WAY BUT TRY TO ARGUE THAT SHE MAY HAVE NOT KNOWN IT WAS A STOLEN CAR...FUKING NICE. She was 15. How old was her friend...16, 17, 18 perhaps? Do we even know this?

When I was a kid, my boyfriend at the time would take whatever car was most convenient to get out of the driveway. Between his 3 cars, his Dad's 2 cars, and older brothers car, and his little brother's 2 cars, his little sister's car, ...there were 9 vehicles in his household. He just took whatever one was at the end of the drive. They all did.

If you walk outside you house and see your vehicle is not there, the first thought is  :o 'it must've been stolen', ...and you call the police. I once walked out of the Manulife Shopping Centre only to find that my vehicle wasn't there. I called the cops. Turns out it was towed. Did the tow truck driver STEAL my car? By MrDumpling's definition, ...he did. I prefer not to view it from that same perspective.

LOL geez lafukingwezz jag your argueing an assinine point darling...first off her being 15 has nothing to do with stealing, 15 yr olds can steal same as a 89 yr old. I dont know why you went off on a tangent with your old boyfriends story ??? If you where breaking the law or posted signs and got towed then NO they did not steal your car. FACT IS THEY STOLE THE CAR PLAIN AND SIMPLE the fact it was her mothers doesnt change the fact it was stolen.

I stipulated I wasn't going to quibble over semantics.

She was explaining the events AFTER the fact. If she didn't know her friend didn't have permission to take the car at the time, her subsequent arrest could have cleared up any misperceptions of what had taken place. She may now be fully aware of facts that she may not have been at the time. Like I said, she was explaining after the fact.

Whether she is innocent or not, does not negate the fact that she did not deserve what was done to her.

I did not assume he may have violated others. What I said was that he has engendered hatred and animosity within the community. If you think that citizens are content with having police officers who deem it necessary to abuse children this way think again. GetBig is an aberrant microcosm. Out in the real world, attitudes are not quite as callous or insensitive. It's experiences like hers that lead to officers getting shot while trying to write out a routine traffic ticket. Someone like her says "I won't go through that again"... or others who witness this say "It's not going to happen to me a first time". And Pow... a hard working honest cop is leaving his/her spouse to go it alone, and a kid is left without a mother or father.  :'(

It's a stupid, and completely unecessary cycle of hatred, mistrust, and violence that need not take place. You can laugh at it all you want, ...trust me when I tell you, there are more people crying than laughing... and for good reason.

You brought out her age under the premise that at 15 she wouldn't have a valid license.
my point is that though she may not have had a valid license, her friend might have.
She might have frequently driven with her friend in the mom's car, ...and would not think anything out of the ordinary to go out with her friend in that same vehicle. That was the point i was making. I'm not arguing that this was the case, I'm simply saying we have heard nothing about the circumstances under which the car was taken other than they did not have permission. And she is being called a "carjacker". Oh puleaze!

And how can you say the tow truck did not STEAL my car, ...then extort payment for it's safe return?
They did not have permission to take my car. I did not want it towed. I didn't tell them to tow it.
The police told them to take it. The car did not belong to the police, ...it belonged to me.
Therefore, the police were complicitous both in it's theft and the subsequent extortion.  :D

They're running a bloody RICO racket!  :D

My point being, ...if by chance he happened to have taken one of the vehicles from his household that wasn't his, ...and if his brother didn't assume he'd taken it, they might have reported it stolen. And by your strict definition, taking a vehicle that doesn't belong to you is stealing. Let's at least be a little consistent here.

And while we're being consistent, ...let's be accurate. The vehicle was not her mother's, ...it was her friend's mother's

Do we even know whether the charges were followed through? Were theft charges pressed?
Did the owner of the vehicle say...oh my kid took the car, ....oh ok. Don't charge them with grand theft auto, ...it was a misunderstanding. We haven't heard about that have we? All we have heard is that a law enforcement officer abused a 15 year old child without justification. THAT is the issue. We are all in agreement that she acted inappropriately, however, there is no justification for what occurred, ...at least none that I have seen.

there arent semantics to quibble over, SHE STOLE...if she didnt know that the car was stolen dont you think she would have made that clear instead of insinuating that they did know which is what she did.

I apologize you did not say that i misread your statement. LOL i wouldnt say she didnt deserve it b/c she most certainly did but it wasnt right and like I said he shouldnt be on the streets. I disagree with your idea that this will lead to more police officers getting killed an normal civilian who simply gets pulled over for a traffic ticket isnt going to start capping police simply b/c they saw this video.

How can you say the tow truck did not STEAL my car, ...then extort payment for it's safe return?
They did not have permission to take my car. I did not want it towed. I didn't tell them to tow it.
The police told them to take it. The car did not belong to the police, ...it belonged to me.
Therefore, the police were complicitous both in it's theft and the subsequent extortion.

We are all in agreement that she acted inappropriately, however, there is no justification for what occurred, ...at least none that I have seen.
b/c you broke the law NUMB NUT by your logic police arresting you is tant amount to kidnapping  ::) again geez lafukingwezzz

no stealing is not taking a vehicle that doesnt belong to you stealing is taking property that doesnt belong to you WITHOUT PERMISSION. It seems to me that your old boyfriends family had an agreement that you take whatever car is available I.E. an AGREEMENT

Her friends mother or her friends grandmothers sisters long lost brother in law it doesnt CHANGE THE FACT THAT THE CAR WAS STOLEN.

Im pretty sure at that point its the cops judgement on whether or not to take them in im sure charges could be dropped later on but if the cops want to take you in then im thinking its their decision at that moment. Ive agreed with you on the last point but your ignorant stance that she didnt do anything wrong or that they where simply borrowing the car is ignorant. Like I said earlier did she deserve it fuk ya she did, was it right no but that doesnt change the fact her and her friend stole the car.

Definition of steal: To take (the property of another) without right or permission.

It's not the "normal" citizens the police have to be worrying about, ...it's the abnormal ones,
...the ones on the borderline who might have otherwise said "$#|t, and hoped they just got a ticket or warning for the broken tail light, all the while praying they don't run his/her record, and discover unpaid tickets or some other such stuff for which they can be hauled off for. Those are the ones who will decide not to take a chance.
