i like helping people out..
what was your progress? did you keep track of weight and bodyfat ?
You absolutely did, man!

Last November during Nationals weekend, I was 226 lbs. It was terrible.
Over the next couple of months, I did a little cardio and cleaned up my diet and got down to 205-206. We started the weight-loss challenge 5 weeks before the Arnold, with 192 as my ultimate goal, but with 197-198 as a more realistic target. Her goal was to drop 15 lbs in the 5 weeks. I screwed everything up on the weight loss during the Disney trip, but did not lose any strength.
At the end, I weighed in at 199 and although I never tracked my bodyfat, my midsection was a lot smaller and there was visible shape in my chest, shoulders, and arms as opposed to the mushy mass that was present when I began.
Although I can't reveal her numbers, she actually gained weight during the challenge, but added that 'weight loss is for sissies' and that her main goal was 'to crush me in the lifts' anyway. The woman is vicious. *groan*
She was always going to beat me on shoulder day - I was doing the 40s when I started and she was already at the 70s - but I swear to you all, I would've taken her ass on back day. Even if she won the deadlifts, there was no way she was going to pull 95 for reps in the single-arm db rows and I knew that my seated cable rows would crush her.
