. He has be what, about 40+?

Somebody needs to get him at a expo booth. He had the freakest taper, and will go down in history as that (well there is that Frenchman that Serge is training--his pics were posted here). Imagine him at a Arnold Expo in shape, not bodybuilding shape, but in shape...

He`s 46 now Parker,the same as me.See the pic above when he placed 2nd to Ian Dowe,the black guy on the left end is Vince Brown and both were 19 at the time and still young enough for the junior class.Boy,did i pick a good time to compete in the juniors.

Vince had already won the Mr Nottingham at age 18 as well as the junior class,and i`ve still to this day never seen anyone gain as much size as Brian and Vince did from 1981 to 1982.

the thing is, Ronnie held on to the tiny waist even at 257 pounds: that was the pinnacle right there.

after that it was all downhill. in 2000 he was massive but with a huge waist too.

check out 1999, the year ND fears the most.

I really don't see a flaw in that physique.
Most say his legs are too small- I don't see it in that shot...maybe down the road when the rest of him got bigger, but not there. They seem to be "just right."
His arms- never ever saw that one. I think his arms (aside from his waist) are maybe his strongest body part.

Ronnie's waist while in a POSE, was small. But as you can see in the screencaps that ND posted, Ronnie lets his waist hang out too often.
I remember on one of the last (if not THE last) ESPN broadcast of the Olympia, Cory Everson was talking about Ronnie and his size while combined with his then small waist. She said "It's always amazed me how that teeny-tiny waist of his can hold up all that mass."
Then the next year Ronnie came in with a huge gut...I think he said it was because he carbed up on baby food. The next year the excuse was he drank an entire gallon of water because he wasn't feeling good before one of the rounds in the contest....that's when I noticed Ronnie losing that humbleness he had at the beginning.

Again his waist was narrow but don't confuse a narrow waist with a gut because he had both , his gut insane partly because of his short torso among other things , Flex never showed a gut onstage like Ronnie ever his abdomen was totally flat and Ronnie's well his was pronounced

Anyway,keeping it on topic,and hoping just for once Ronnie pics stay out of at least one thread.
Look at the cover shot of Brian in 1983,and think of how Haney looked in 83 when he placed 3rd in the Olympia.To me,Brians lat spread is as good as Haneys from 83 and his double biceps is way better.The biggest mistake Brian made is not going over to the EFBB in 83,he would have won the British and the Worlds and been eligible for the 84 Olympia.Now Haney in 84 versus Brian would have been interesting.
