That guy is suffering from a severe case of Palumbosism.
His arms and legs are skinny and his midsection of his body is huge.
He looks like one of those tics that you pull out of your dogs back that drank to much blood.
You know the ones with the huge blimp like bodies, and the skinny little limbs

Yup.  Did my set, straightened up to rack it, leaned forward a little to get bar in rack and SNAP!  Had surgery to have tendon re-attached.  Long recovery time.  Its been about 4 years and I still have pain in that elbow.

contraction still feels the same.  i did lose some strength tho that seems permanent, but its not significant.

no.  orthopod told me it was a freak thing.  said he has seen patients that have done it playing volleyball, taking dog for walk (lol), etc.  shit happens.

Did you pay out of pocket to have it re attacehed?  My doctor would not recommend surgery because only one of the two tendons tore (at the shoulder) and I am not a professional athlete.  Because he wouldn't make the referral to the ortho surgeon my insurance wouldn't cover it.  I wanted to smack him in the mouth when he said "It makes your biceps peak look better."

So now I have to limit my bicep curls to like 40lbs or I get micro tears that fill arm up with blood.

Any way that you could not seek a second, third, fourth opinion, until you get a doc who isn't a douche?

Mine tore from the elbow, where I think there is only one attachment (i could be wrong).  My insurance paid for it.  Although my orthopod did tell me that i could live without having it re-attached.  the only downside is that my left arm would be much weaker.  i chose to get it fixed.  it also looked very deformed.

I pretty much gave up on it since I have no plans to compete anymore.  When this originally occurred all of doctors that I spoke with wouldn't agree to it.  Living in Gainesville (back then) they only wanted to operate on you if you were a Gator football player or Jags player.

F'n $hitheads.

It's been a couple years since and the end of the tendon is probably healed too much for surgery.  It sucks cause I can always feel it when I'm curling.  If I push it too hard...the bruising starts.

Being natural and not doing 1 rep max helps.  :D Flexibility helps reduce chance of tears but stretching right before lifting increases the chance of tears, shaking the arm etc. to get some blood in there will reduce chance of tears.

Juicers muscles strengthen faster than their tendons so basically it's a huge muscle held on by a thin weak rope. Because naturals muscles grow and strengthen at the rate their supposed to our tendons are able to strengthen and adapt to these stressfull weights and extra muscle mass we are carrying and the chances of a tear occuring are FAR lower.

Victor martinez tore his hamstring getting into his car, branch warren tore his tricep falling down the stairs, samir bannout tore his tricep throwing a punch.
Lol
