Being natural and not doing 1 rep max helps.

Flexibility helps reduce chance of tears but stretching right before lifting increases the chance of tears, shaking the arm etc. to get some blood in there will reduce chance of tears.
Juicers muscles strengthen faster than their tendons so basically it's a huge muscle held on by a thin weak rope. Because naturals muscles grow and strengthen at the rate their supposed to our tendons are able to strengthen and adapt to these stressfull weights and extra muscle mass we are carrying and the chances of a tear occuring are FAR lower.
