yes i ment pitbull ofcourse. stop arguing semantics like a child.

I'm not arguing semantics an American Bulldog is not a pitbull and they are a much different dog.  Same with English bulldogs.  Pitbulls were bred to fight to bait bulls, and to work.... but lots of dogs are bred for aggression towards other animals.  Various hunting dogs come to mind.  Also, take a dog like the GSD, bred for protection work.  That is a breed that is more likely to be aggressive towards people.  The pit is more likely to be aggressive towards other animals, but that can be changed with socialization and neutering.  Most all male dogs are aggressive towards other males if they are not fixed and socialized, it just so happens that when its that way with a pit, its so strong and tenacious the end result is often catastrophic.

Pitbulls are meant for responsible dog owners.  Just like Dobes and large dog breeds.

Poodles were originally trained as hunting dogs if I am correct and they can get VERY mean very quickly.

Petmedsonline.org have them listed as their 2nd smartest breed out of all dogs.

And getting bit by a pitbull doesn't necessarily mean that you'll get your hand ripped into shreds. I'm not denying that a pitbull jaw is much more powerful than most other breeds but it's really of not much importance when you consider the bite statistics.

Uh, oh! You're now going to get lots of angry replies from posters detailing how their pooch breast feeds orphaned kittens and saves blind retards from wells.

Sorry, not everyone likes to act like a moron painting with a broad brush  ::)

One of my bitches son, won Hawaii's stongest dog five years ago.  At 103 pounds he pulled 4700 lbs 25 feet.  Good Molossers can work.

ABDs are close cousins to APBTs.  Particularly the original dogs JDJ had that he and Allen Scott bred.  The "New" Johnson dogs that have had long haired St. Bernard, Bull Mastiff, Olde, blood introduced are similar to the 110 lb APBTs.

Like someone else said, tight breeding programs will produce traits, good or bad.  Socialization of animals will have an effect, but genes are genes.

That's a good looking dog. I'd never own a dog with a disposition to violence genetic or otherwise. It's in shape, that's for sure

American bulldog  ::) Why do keep bringing that useless mutt up ?

A website ?? See this is exactly what a true fancier of gamedogs dont have!! Get it ?

Why the fuck would i have a website when i donīt breed to sell dogs ?

Oh, and the part where you say that the animal agression can be fixed by socialization and neutering..LMAO!

A statement like this shows my you have only seen "petbulls" in your life!

A gamedog will not fight from dominance, territory, fear, agression etc...these are sign of a weak dog!!

They fight for fun!

Stick to feeding your fat am-bull some bullshit kibble while you pet him in your sofa  ::)

Thats what I thought.  I brought up the Bulldog because I don't own a pit right now you retard (which you refereed to).  Second, you have no proof that you know what you are talking about in regards to a proper pit, yet you claim to be some sort of expert who advocates "keeping his animals from the public" as a solution to owning pitbull....and makes fun of proper socialism and neutering as a combatant of animal aggression. I dont want a "game dog" you fool. You're a clown and you are full of shit.  You also sound like you have fought a dog or two.  SCUM.

Do you fight dogs?  Only because of the Old english bull.  American bulls are not game like pits.  They wont fight through gore and pain.  Dog fighting sucks.

You obviously have no idea about these dogs

They are high maintenance they need to be challenged every day, they need to be tired before they are happy, this is not a lazy dog and pulling stuff etc is EXCELLENT for this type of dog.
The worse thing you can do with that breed is to have it in your backyard growing bored and so over excited it will do anything to get rid
of their level of anxiety.

But again you haven't a fucking clue

Presidents and dignitaries have owned pitbulls or bull terriers.  Petey from Lil rascals was a pit. The pit used to be the "American dog" until the retards got a hold of them.  Can you see why?  A 40lb dog pull a 2,000 pound automobile.

I have owned several pits, and currently, I own an American Bulldog.  Its a fucking shame that these animals fall into the wrong hands.  Pitbulls are not naturally aggressive towards people.  Obviously dog fighters didn't want a dog who would attack them in the ring.  Pitbulls can are just like every other dog if they are raised correctly.  Sadly, 90% of the people who own pits are morons.

If I had a dollar for every dirty look that came my way at the dog park when I come in the my American bull I would be rich.  If I had a dollar for every time the toy breeds nipped and barked at other dogs while my dog trotted around minding his own business and obeying his commands, I would be a multi millionare.
Can't argue with that.  Much like children, a certain IQ should be mandatory for having either.  If your dog barks a lot, kill it, or keep him the fuck inside.

The trainer I used has 2 rottweilers who both know protection commands. When you step foot in the room with them you would have no idea. He trains them in a way to remove their prey drive. He walks with them in his yard off the leads, they dont chase animals, they are trained to pee in a certain spot of the yard, and you can train them to respond to hundreds of commands with the correct training. He said the idea is for people to have no idea your dog is trained to bite.  If you do not have a balanced dog you should not be training them to take the sleeve end of story.

According to the "expert" valhalla this is impossible.  Even though it is done on a daily basis by dog trainers.  Valhalla is just another know it all who has no fucking clue what they are talking about.  Also, he speaks like a dog fighter.  I suspect he is a scumbag of epic proportions.

theres no fucking reason to own a pitbull as a pet unless its for fighting im sick of idiots who say 'its the owners not the dog', the things are vicious killers and attract little POS thug owners who think having a pitbull is cool

Valhalla apparently likes to keep his dogs wild and natural like wolves because thats the way they were supposed to be kept. Who are we to train these dogs to behave around people thats just rediculous.
