Read up on de novo lipogenesis. Does it occur readily in humans? And nutrient timing is by and large a bunch of bullshit. You can gain weight on a calorie deficit? That's some twilight zone shit right there. If we are going to talk about pics to prove our points then look at Serge Nubret. Claimed to eat all his calories in ONE meal at night.
Yes. There is actually a study that shows that eating only once a day slightly improves body composition.
This finding points in the same direction as Layne Norton's recent research where he found that eating a few large proteinmeals/day was more beneficial for muscle growth that spacing it out like a nutbar.
Well for now it's still only his theory AFAIK.
Let's email him and find out.
I think he said so himself.

Great progress SimplyHuge, BTW. Despite our little discussion here I always thought you had an awesome physique.
Likewise. the argument is about our ideas, and nothing personal. you also have a great physique, very lean, and it seems like you are able to maintain it year round. we just have a big difference of opinion on what works.
good progress. Ive gone from 30% body fat(according to getbig) to 12% body fat in less than 2 months naturally, didn't lose much strength or size. just hard dieting, caffeine and cardio, no diet with junk/sweets.
at least wavelength is not an arrogant know it all like TA.
You are a genetic freak.
is it you in the avi? recent shot?
you could be ripped in a month or 2, you don't have much fat to lose brotatono. he is more like 7% bf, no new pics until june 7th, but that is about what i will look like except a little bigger
Looking forward to teh pics baby
Load up on high antioxidant fruits and snickers marathons for recovery days everyother day since there is potential for fat gain but also a good way to repair the body . When i mean recovery, just go high on those foods but keep your workout intensity/duration up!
you would be fasting for a long period before eating your 1 meal. fasting causes an average of 50% fat loss and 50% muscle loss per pound...
So you would actually recommend a meal of about 220g protein in one meal?I would actually be interested in trying this as I think it would be a quite easy way to diet. Just eat a large meal sometime in the afternoon perhaps...count the calories and you are set I guess...
That's what the study suggests. What I do on a cut is eat one large meal and space out the rest of my protein over the day (protein shake). I do it because it's the most convenient way for me and I could not observe any negative effect on body composition. Rather, body composition slightly improved compared to 6-meals-a-day diets I tried in the past.
Please explain your findings and include all relevant details and explanations of terminology.
