I wish you luck....

What does Cheri get for being the your head cheerleader?   She has to put up with you crabby while dieting....and help you cook those gourmet meals you are eating...as has been said before, she is one hell of a girl...

I think she deserves something extra special in July for helping you achieve your goal....and not just the pleasure of your company:)

Thanks SWTYGRL.  :)  Michael is and has always been truly appreciative of all I do for him.  Yes, he can be crabby with his new diet, but he recognizes it and appologizes when/if anything seems directed at me.  Come July, the only thing I ask from him is to give it his all.  I love him to death and I am sure he will do great!

Doing ECA while "on", and at your age is a very very bad idea.  Two people in my old gym died that way.  The slimmed down diet will be good enough.  Forget about the ECA stack.

Are you walking a  treadmill set at an incline with small progressive increases as the days go on?

That's what I'm currently doing

My main focus right now is to lose fat, not to gain muscle.  ( I have enough of that)

no...............i increase the speed and duration/time in daily increments vs using an incline
(on the advice of my chiropractor)

Just a though... but what about instead of 30 min cardio you shorten it to 20 then hit the sauna for 10-15 min after? what about in the morning cardio? 20 min then 10min of sauna time?

The morning cardio is the best route to go for kick starting the metablo.

1) Mike said he doesn't squat for medical reasons, which the front squat could possibly solve.

2) Mike asked for our thoughts. If one thing out of the 10 I said helps, then good.

3) Now is NOT the time to focus on legs? Are you crazy? Now is the ONLY time!  The man is 42 and entering his first contest. WHy diet and get stringy with those legs, when he can maybe do a bumped up cycle, super-heavy leg training, and rest his body for 4-6 weeks before spending 24 weeks dieting?

4) You are a bone rack.  Look in the mirror before getting on me.

hahahaha, you start the thread and we can compare pics you dumbass.
