i like to be ready as i can be a week out, then the last week is all the little manipulations like carb deplete/load,sodium and water restriction all that complicated stuff.

Hey Mike, have you noticed something?
Practically EVERY person who's ever bashed you earlier in the famous Arvilla thread, and in more recent times are now giving you praise for your accomplishments. It's not just about the amazing physical transformation you've made through hard work, but your way of being has obviously changed, and you've lost the "ego" and become more realistic and done something about it. I'd never think we'd see this day where me, Yemeni, Bast, Freeagain and others who used to talk down to ya now are praising you, good work Mike, you've changed it all around in just a few months. Nothing stand a chance against a firm decision and work ethic to back it up!

DF

ps: Now all that's left is that LSD and the rest of the Mr.Eyebrow crew returns here to be shocked, and get Grace to make a post as well ;D

ok..............STOP

second "tearing up moment" of the night has just occured!

no more.................... .....!

(thanx DF .............means a lot )

I am extremley impressed. I have been following this thread like everyone else, and while you are much bigger than me regardless,I will admit that at first I thought you had a screw loose(no offense) :-\  for posting all those pics.Well you have proven what hard work, determination and guts can do. It makes absolutely no difference how well you place in that show...none at all. You have made a tremendous transformation that few of us have the dicipline or the work ethic to complete.Major props man...like Mindspin said, you have those pics forever to prove what YOU did..nobody can take that away. Good Job.

Looking on target mike, much respect for making it happen.  One of the very few board related challenge type deals that have actually panned out.

Mike.....

train legs heavy, explosive, & with a lot of reps.....take a quick breath.....repeat.

You want to train them with so much intensity....that they'll have to wheel you out of the gym.

Years back when I used to train with a lot more intensity....leg day was the worse.

I used to drive a standard & on leg day....i'd be sitting in the parking lot for 20-30 minutes after my workout trying to get my legs to quit shaking when I pressed down the clutch.

Those days were painful...but fun!
