Agree completely with previous posts, Mike you look superb now, the transformation you have achieved has been truly motivational to most members of this board whether they like to admit it or not.Notice how the swing has gone from you posting pics of yourself at 30%bf to now, everyone notices you have become humbled and have become a figure to be respected.Sure calves are slighly weaker than other parts but think about it this way, you do the show and then youll be what, 210-215 pounds to start a mass cycle in amazing shape, with your current motivation imagine how youll feel with a caloric surplus hitting the weights hard.I believe you could fit what you previously achieved in 3 years in to 6 months, that would put you at some monster legs by christmas!Keep going hard and ignore the haters, props Mike really looking forward to contest pics and i believe youll place well

Mike ,you look better than before, but not superb,I agree with 240 ,    thousands ,do this every year, including my wife ,myself and some friends. nothing special about  being fat ,go on a diet ,look good for a day ,and then go back to the same or worse than before .The hard part is maintain  low body fat(8to 14%) while improving ,  and changing the way we eat,  so I will wait  until two month after the show see how you look.   then I'll compliment you (if you look good )  Good luck with your show and I hope you place.

WOW, Mike!   :o  What a transformation.  How do you feel, bro?  You look great.  I had a feeling you would end up having good symmetry.  It's great to see what you have accomplished.  You have definitely been knockin' it down, bro.  Kudos to Larry for helping you get there.  Kudos to Cheri for her unconditional support.  I know you won't forget, but make sure you thank in the best way you know how when this is all said and done.  I think your legs are gonna match up nice with your upper body, 'cause I can tell you're still holding water in your quads and upper thighs.  It's amazing how, when, and where water depletes from our system.  June is right around the corner, bro!  I can't believe it.  I'm sure you can.  lol

Well, you look great, Mike.  And I wish you the best of luck.

what is your problem lately Zack?? (lack of attention/pussy)
you attack Cheri/Laura at every available oppurtunity (shes a chick dude)
now this "backhanded compliment "perhaps one day you will be able to place in a local contest"

LOL!.................i got no beef with you(neither does Laura)
we are just "doing what we are doing" and not hurting anyone...............

is it the "special guest" status?
her being a Mod here?
(don't laugh this place was in an uproar when we both got blue stars)

im not a bad guy bro
and Cheri/Laura is really a sweetheart............

MIKE
My post was actually about giving you credit for making the transformation. You *may* want to re-read it.

You think placing in a local contest is something not to be proud of?

You all of a sudden feel you are on some other level?

I'm confused, really. I thought this whole process of getting into shape had made you aware of your potential.

I also would like to sometime get some kind of input from you on what that PT certification you have is worth, at least what the nutrition part of it means. This is by no means a slam on you, just asking you to use your own learning from this dieting and perhaps sharing on what relevance the certification has.

I think the most impressive leap you will have done, regardless of what happens in the future, is the step you're going through right now.

Good luck, Mr Gatorade.  ;)

DB ,WHATEVA, COLOSSUS, AND HEDGE ..........first of all thank you for your kind words!

how do i feel colossus ...........like crap pretty much  lol

hedge..............my ISSA pt training certificate and their methods and principles on diet
are not geared towards bodybuilding, rather more suited for overweight housewife's

however i was trained by JOHN and SHERRY DEFENDIS (John is an IFBB PRO,INTESITY OR insanity principles)

so obviously he preached a pretty basic body builders diet called the "ULTRA -FIT SYSTEM"
it work's really well

Damn Mike I have to say I am impressed. not only with your transformation but with your confidance and perseverance.
when I was getting ready for my show, If someone told me I had weak arms or legs, I wanted to say fuck off and stop the dieting for the show.
When I will compete next year ( well maybe) I won't be putting my pics on getbig, that is too much for me  ;)

lol Maxx.  I wasn't really trying to single anyone out, just making a point about the difference in physique types that either give props and appreciate or bash and hate on this board.

It really makes you laugh.  Like Michael said, you just never know who's in your corner and got your back.  ;)

Just look at yourself in the mirror and see, your about as muscular as pee wee hermans. But gues what Getbig.com is composed of 70% ass holes who weight barely 130 Lbs. We dont care about them , the only thing that matters is people like you mike and you Cheri ;)

Mike has the testicular fortitude to post his before and after pics and as stated before...no matter where you place you are a winner!!!

I mean no harm Mike.  I just have a very critical eye and I see what you need to work on.  I really try not to sound like I'm giving backhanded comments but I guess it comes across that way on the www.  It would be different if I were talking right in front of you.....kinda like how the judges are gonna talk to after your show.

I know how much work goes into this...I've done it several times.  I guess I don't want to come across like I'm kissing your ass or something just cause you decided to get yourself into shape, and do a show.

Don't take me giving critical statements as some sort of put down.  I ask questions and tell you what you need to work on.  I don't think you need another cheerleader....you got plenty...lol.

You've done a great job on transforming your physique, Mike.  Not everyone can do what you've done, and taking it to the level you've taken it to is something to be proud of.

Jennifer and I will be routing for you on the day of your show.

ahhhhhhh the KING of backhanded compliments.  Well, he didn't ask you fuckface but since you offered your worthless 1 cent, please stfu until you know what you are talking about.  You are the last person on this board who should be offering opinions, whether good or bad.  Come back and talk about lifting after you have actually lifted a weight.  You meaningless banter with Pro's is just another pathetic way for you to get your much needed attention.

Michael has made a tremendous transformation in both his body and attitude regarding bodybuilding and bodybuilders, but seeing that you could never obtain such, it is quite sad that you will never see that side of the fence.  And therefor you will never respect anyone else for doing so.  I think they call that "jealousy".  So just keep sitting behind that computer screen posting your "stupid ass shots" Rob.  We're all real interested in what you have to say. ::)

Good post, but there is more then jealousy here.  240 spends the majority of each day, 7 days a week, insulting everyone and everything on getbig.  That's not jealousy.  I don't know what it is, but it isn't just jealousy.

Also, Mike's legs look good.  Mike has a big waist, which is not a big deal, that's life. Gunter's got the same thing.  So even though his legs are good, they make not look huge due to the immediate comparison with his waist.  The worst part is is that 240 is one of these guys that thinks, "If I juiced, I would 10X better then him or any (and all) pros."

It's amazing how many times I've heard that line.  Not only at the gym, but backstage at some of the shows I've done.

Brutal delusions.

FWIW,

I think Freakzilla is your best friend on this board Arvilla.

If you don't realize that, you need to check yourself.

This guy gives you an honest appraisal, while never telling you to fcuk off.

Cheri Lane, the difference between someone like Freakzilla and 240 is total.

The difference between Freakzilla and Luke Wood is also total. As in that Freakzilla won't sugar coat it.

Just like the coaches of winning championships, he'll tell Arvilla what needs to be better, not what is good or decent. But in a constructive manner.

Complacency is a bitch.

And Freakzilla is your best friend here.

Time you realize that. And pay that fcuker some respect.
