Decent progress Mike. When I do my contests, the dude that helps me always tells me true about everything. Fortunately, I always do what he says to a T, and then some, so he never dissed my work ethic in the gym, or my dieting. He is always very positive as well. BUT..... he is also very honest with me about flaws with my physique.... and at one time, my lower body was about 3 years behind my upper body. This was about 6 months before my first contest, and he said, "your legs are too small, we will do them 3 times a week, and just obliterate them, and then a couple of months out we will work on getting them diced to the bone before C-day". It worked out OK, I came in 2nd in the open lightweight class, and I won the junior masters, but I realized all along what my shortcomings were thanks to my coach. You do need somebody, one guy, that tells you the truth, no matter what. It is nice to have a lot of support, and a lot of positive people around, but you also need someone to look you in the eyes and give you the good honesty, and the bad honesty . This is your first time, so make it fun and enjoyable, and go on stage looking the absolute best that you can, and if you got issues with your physique, then after this is over work hard to correct them. For now though, JUST HAVE FUN..................... ....................Weez
