You are a liar 240, you didn't contratulate Mike or ask for pictures, you simply said "How many people were in the Open heavyweight class?" and that was it.   Anyone care to see what a liar 240 is, just go here: http://www.getbig.com/boards/index.php?topic=77367.100

cheri, your man is a lifelong BBing fan.  he did his first show today.  He did well.  instead of spending time with him and having fun, you're melting down on the boards playing word games. Relax.  This is what Tosha did after Bob did the masters, remember?

It seems like you're angry about something, and you have been going at me nonstop, just for asking about the class.

Enjoy the moment.  Bitter women are unattractive.

YAY!!!  GREAT JOB MIKE!

You did wonderfully and should be quite pleased!  Enjoy your time of eating whatever you want and knowing that your body will hate it so much that it will just shoot it all  right out w/o retaining many calories at all. ;D

Completing the diet is quite a feat, but getting on stage and doing what you did is yet another!  YOU ROCK BRO! :D

Congratulations my friend.  Love to you and Laura :)

To be fair, there are a few people on here being particularly cruel.

Melting down?  ROFLMAO, hardly.  Just because you piss people off and they respond, doesn't mean they are melting down.  A melt down would consist of one closing their account and then coming back to the boards looking for sympathy by stating they are dying from a disease (what did you say it was? liver disease or something like that).  That my dear...is a meltdown, but then again...you already know that  :-*

And with that I bid you all a good night because I am gonna go and have some fun with a NPC Competitive Bodybuilder.  ;)

asking how many were in your class is a normal question that everyone that competes gets asked...But i do understand coming from 240 you may see it as a loaded question...

If it was 3 out of 15 or 3 out of 3, people with class will give you the same feedback and it will be positive...

I agree.  But I don't think I have been cruel at all.  Cheri and I have battled, but me and Mike are cool and I very rarely mess with him- I only worried about the health side- about the strain of a first Bbing show at 40+ and losing 1/4 of one's body mass in 3-4 months is huge.  Billy Carp dying was a horrible thing, and I would hate to see that happen again.

Sure, some have been cruel, and some are outright insulting them right now. But I'm not. I just asked about the placement.  And she's focusing on me for some reason.

If he at the least congratulated him and then asked...it would have meant something and would have been answered right away, but 240 likes to try and take away anyone elses shining moment and piss on it.  He is of the smallest of creatures.  240, just to let you know, I asked a professional web designer their thoughts of your sites.  They said that the sites you have created for other people looked really good for an amature but if they were looking to have someone build a site for them...basted on your own site...they would not hire you.  They said your site lack any creativity and design.  Maybe instead of posting the crap you post all day and night...you should work on revamping your own site so it can bring you more business.

Wow, thanks.  I actually did a redesign and launched it, but things were dead.  i went back to the ugly site :) that I have had, and things picked right back up.  I'm slammed with sites- more from local businesses than from the web- so I haven't been able to look at my own.  I'm actually launching a second business- selling the sites for 475 to 500 for local firms... but they'll always be $300 for my getbig people and the people they send :)

Everyone has that option, of course!

For someone who just wants one site, it's often easier to just pay $300 for everything (completely customized until they're 100% happy) and let them spend their time growing their product/service.  My experience and education definitely come in handy too.

For someone that wants to do this for a living... it's HARD.  I give my customers 100% satisfaction guarantees.  Some sites take 1-3 weeks of 4-6 hours a day.  I have absolutely no life lol... that's why most guys charge way more, so they can enjoy life.  I KNOW that I undercharge, but I'd prefer to lose a little margin than to have wasted capacity.  I haven't had a day in 2 months that I haven't been working at least 6 hours lol... most days 12 or 14.

Look at all of this clip art and media that you are 'legally' allowed to use.  That's a lot for 200 dollars!

Look at this, Microsoft guarantees privacy!  I think that means they def. won't come onto an internet forum and post a naked picture of you and talk about your kids a few months after your site is built.

LOL Awesome debate.... 240 vs. Frontpage!

$200 plus tax...212.

My sites cost $88 bucks more, and I eat the tax.  All the client has to do is tell me what they want, and it gets built.  They get 2-3 emails a day during the design process.  They tell me what they like, what they don't, and I grow it. Pic galleries, flash, video clips, ecomm systems, and of course, the business acumen and skill of a guy who has taught web des since 2001 and been doing it all day every day since Nov/Dec.

If the tens of hours you spend building the site on your own is worth it, that is awesome.  But when I need a new shirt, I don't learn to sew.  I buy it, and save myself the 30 hours of sewing class so that I can do what is more profitable for me.  you only get so many hours per week, and if you can outsource a time-intensive task and do what makes you money, it makes sense.

(I often sell my websites to local firms looking to hire a part-timer.  I let them know that they're hiring a kid who needs a desk, PC, software, who could slip and fall and sue, who brings  his baggage to work.  They almost always prefer to outsource it- prepay $300 and get peace of mind. )

I get FrontPage free from DC++, can I get 240 there too? Is 240 made by Macromedia?

Macromedia Version 240.0 is a helluva product.  Occasionally it'll melt down and threaten to kill Frontpage when you talk about Fireworks... but other than that, it's the wittiest web design program around.
