Yeah.
Billy Robinson was already starting to hang it up by the late 1970's.

When you have time some day, search Youtube or dailymotion for clips of Robinson. There’s probably something out there with him.
Billy never had even a decent body, but he could shoot. His hands and knuckles were all twisted and deformed from all the submission work he did. He had quite a reputation as a legitimately tough guy, and seldom did anyone try it on with Billy.

With a little bit of pro mixed with a whole lot of submission, Billy’s unusual ring style went over much better in Japan than in the U.S., and he made a good bit of money for himself while over there.
Never flashy or flamboyant, but true wrestling fans could appreciate his skill.

I'll go and have a wander on YouTube, see what I can find.

A few that I have heard of not listed there :

Glenn Gilberti (Disco Inferno) was hanging out with Billy Kidman and Johnny Swinger at a bar in Marietta, GA when Shane Douglas who was drunk got to insulting all them with gay comments and proclaiming that all three would never make it in wrestling no matter how many dicks they sucked.  Glenn who is openly gay took exception to that and knocked Shane Douglas out cold right on the floor.

DDP almost got his ass kicked by a mod over on Elite on night at a pizza place where all the WCW wrestlers were watching the WWF PPV.  DDPs attempt at intimidation backfired and there was several other wrestlers that had to keep the dude off him while DDP basically pissed his pants.

At a house show in Perry GA, a regional territory wrestler beat the stuffing out of Jake The Snake Roberts in front of the entire audience when Jake who was stoned out of his mind deliberately jammed him in the eye three times in a row and laughed about it each time.

Kevin Sullivan was at Golds Gym on Buford Highway in Atlanta on the stairmaster with Ric Flair when another regular gym member called him a "square ass" (???? not sure of what else, I just heard that part) and Kevin jumped off the stairmaster and busted the guy's nose.

I was always intrigued by these..I  remember hearing a couple... there are a few famous ones (Brett Hart punching and spitting on McMachon) but I'm sure tons of lesser know ones exist..if anyone knows , please care to share

the other ones I've heard are Angle turning Lesnar into a pretzel when he got out of hand, and apparently Jericho fucked somebody up too that was apparently the big man at the time .... anyone know or remember any ?

other one I just read about was the character of Nailz beating the shit out of McMachon after a financial dispute in his office. This was apparently why he was let go by the Federation and many lawsuits ensued.

Oh and the Kane / Tim Sylvia thing has already been debunked as neither Kane or Tim Sylvia were in that city at the time of that bar brawl.

Scott Steiner beat the shit out of DDP and his wife Kimberly in WCW back in 1999.

The real life fights that I know of include:

Bret hart knocking out Vince McMahon (Montreal Screw job)

Bret Hart knocking out Shawn Michaels back in 1993 starting tehir hatred for one another although now they are at peace.

Nailz chocking Vince McMahon over a pay dispute back in 1992.

Brusier Brody getting stabbed and killed in a Porto Rican locker room back in 1988. Porto Rican's didn't want or like Popular American wrestlers invading their territories and steeling the spot light.

Scott Steiner Lumped out DDP and his wife Kimberly in 1999-2000 in WCW over them ratting out Tammy Lynn Sytch (Sunny) to Bishoff for a suspected needle left in the locker room by Sytch.

Batista cracked Booker T in the eye back in 2006 after a fight ensued between the two of them over Batista's ego was getting too big back stage and Batista was telling everyone he was the company's top star.

Jim Cornette slapped Santino Marella in the face back in OVW because Santino didn't act "afraid" on camara when the Boogie Man made his entrance. This led to Cornette's firing.

Jauques Rougeau cracked the Dynamite Kid in the mouth with a roll of quarters back in 1989 knocking out all his front teeth after Dynamite's bullying of him back stage.

356. Sabu vs. a Fan
I also recall an incident when Sabu kicked the shit out on some fan for pulling off his turban while Sabu was walking to the ring. This happened in Japan, I have it on tape somewhere. Anyway, after the fan pulled off the turban, Sabu hopped the railing, chased him down, then knocked him out with a few punches and some wicked ass knees to the face! Afterwards Sabu continued to the ring and proceeded to wrestle Eddie Guerrero like nothing ever happened. (thanks to Troy Anthony)

376. nWo vs. a fan, 1996
A Hogan fan jumped the railing, got into the ring, and is immediately met by a punch from Kevin Nash that sends him to the floor. Upon noticing this, Scott Hall advances and lays a thunderous kick to the mans head. (thanks to Rudy Zarzoff)

380. Eddie Guerrero vs. a fan, 2002
During an RVD-Guerrero ladder match on Raw, some (presumably) drunk fan ran in the ring and knocked over the ladder right as Eddie was climbing it. Eddie saw the guy coming in and was able to land safely. The ref tackled the jackass and held him up for one free shot from Eddie before being dragged out of the ring. Eddie got in one stomp to the head before security had completely gotten the guy onto the floor. (thanks to BurninghHmmer)

Check out this blog....very interesting....

Notoriety and incidents
Fifita made a name for himself outside the ring as one of the toughest wrestler of his era and is known for allegedly biting off noses, and knocking people out with one punch, slap, or headbutt. Though he had an easygoing, friendly personality outside of wrestling, he had very little tolerance for people who tested him. Even renowned hardman Bad News Brown said in interviews that Fifita was without a doubt the most vigorous. Bill Goldberg has also called him the toughest man he's been in the ring with. His one time manager, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan said in a shoot interview that Haku was "the toughest man I've ever met in my life", but noted that he was also a good hearted family man. In 1987, Haku had a backstage fight with Jesse Barr (who wrestled at the WWF as Jimmy Jack Funk) which allegedly resulted in Fifita gouging one of Barr's eyeballs out, causing Barr to later wear a glass eye. After this fight, Fifita had a reputation that steered wrestlers away from backstage confrontations.

In the book Arn Anderson: 4 Ever, Arn Anderson cites an event where Fifita pushed a cowboy through two sets of doors with one hand - and a conversation with The Barbarian about who was tougher. The Barbarian just shook his head when Anderson asked who would win in a fight between him and Fifita and stated "Meng's the man."

He also had an altercation with Brutus Beefcake after Beefcake complained to WWF management that Tonga slapped him too hard during a match. After WWF management informed Tonga, he immediately went to the locker room and grabbed Beefcake out of the shower, and began choking him, lifting him two feet off the floor. Other wrestlers were hesitant to break it up, so finally Hulk Hogan (who Tonga respected) was called in and was able to calm Tonga down.

I once heard a story that Haku was in a bar "chatting" with a female patron when some guy started throwing racial slurs at Haku & the woman.
Haku calmly and respectfully asked the man to stop - especially in front of the lady.
After continuing the verbal onslaught, Haku reached inside the guy's mouth with his fingers and broke off several of his teeth.

I've read stories like these as well.  While Haku was the toughest, I heard no one wanted to mess with Paul Orndorff either.

Paul Orndorff,
Rick Rude,
Hawk,
Dynamite Kid,
Scott Steiner,
Harley Race,
Billy Jack Haynes,
Mad Dog Vachon...
...all had reputations as guys you don't mess with.

Some were considered backstage "bullies," but most wouldn't cause any trouble unless trouble came looking for them.

There were certainly others, but these are a few off the top of my head.

I like the story of when Orndorff smacked Vader around....haha

And I always read that nobody from the old school wanted any of Harley Race.

Dynamite & Piper shared some interesting Harley Race stories in their books.

I forgot to include Taker & APA on that list above.
All three have served as "enforcers" of sorts for Vince.

Harley Race for sure was a legitimate tough guy, and a real wrestler, as the NWA champ had to be back in the day.  In case another territory's champ tried to pull a screwjob and take the belt.

I heard that Vince Jr wanted either Hogan or Tony Atlas to take the strap from Backlund since they looked more the part. And he would have wanted Superstar to hold it longer in the late 70's.  But Vince Sr rested easy having Backlund because oh his amateur wrestling background.  Don't know how Bob was in a street fight.  The Iron Shiek was an Olympic wrestler and former bodyguard who knew how to really hurt and disable someone.

Undertaker especially. He escorted several big-mouthed wrestlers and made a few cry. No one messes with the Undertaker backstage.

Yeah, Kurt is/was an accomplished wrestler. I just don't see a guy who beat up on drunks at bars handling Brock.
