Shoulder tricepshttp://www.jaycutler.com/archives.php I've allways been fascinated by training splits; a combinational problem. Seems like there are no "real answers" and each split will give you a different feeling. I tend to try one and realize it's "hard" and blame the "erronous" split and switch around
. So many questions and so many different answers; "how often should I train each group?", "how often should I take a day off?", "Can I train a smaller group first?", "Is it better to have certain days of the week for certain groups, (Monday chest, tuesday back etc..)?"
Rules I tend to follow:
- never hit a muscle directly then indirectly the following day; tends to "break" the local recovery cycle and alter the PTOR for that particular group
- Allways Train Legs as a whole (quads & Hamz)
- Try to "localize" the blod flow; ie shoulder and calves limits the "pump" where chest and shoulders or bi/tri tends to maximize
- This is the tough one: try to "prioritize" weaker groups, in my case my T-rex arms
Looks like Jay broke one of my rules by hitting chest/bi/forearms then back the following day.
