A second person was also found dead.

That person's identity was not immediately known.

No further details were released.

McNair played 13 seasons in the NFL before retiring in April 2008.

He played college football at Alcorn State and was drafted by the Houston Oilers, third overall, in the 1995 NFL Draft.

McNair played 11 seasons with the Titans franchise, leading the team to the Super Bowl in 1999.

He played his final two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.

McNair was selected to the Pro Bowl three times and was the co-MVP of the league in 2003, sharing the award with Peyton Manning.

He was 36 years old

It doesn't take guts to confront an unarmed person with a gun.....maybe a bit of cunning and smarts, but not guts.

well..I meant not just the act of killing him but the entire act of confronting someone much bigger than she, killing him with cold-blooded execution then doing herself in with a shot to the skull which most women don't do.

you must have the flexibility of a ballerina...he is pretty tall..you would have to kick awfully high.....even collisions with 300 lb lineman couldn't faze this guy....what do you think you'd be able to do to him?....he would hurt you and me pretty bad..LOL
