Energy, i really really want to get on as a real time energy trader and do that for a while I already have a degree but its in psych and worthless in the world of finance. There is a customer service rep position open in this one company I actually sat down and had coffee with the head of the acct department in that company about an internship but nothing came out of it. I was thinking even though it doesnt have any finance component to it at least its in the industry and maybe that would help out.

Get a stafford loan and go back to school for your MBA.

best time to get an education is during a recession.  You're not gonna get a decent job in the crippled finance area for a while.  Why not spend that 2 years (while everything is recovering) getting the MBA?

Along the way, you'll see tons of opportunities and internships that you won't hear about in the outside world.  And if you do get a good job, you can stop school anytime then go back later.  hell, most employers (used to) pay their guys to get MBAs.

You could pay ~ $500 a year for 5 years doing your walk in thing at CVS and then get into a horrible accident or have a brain tumor or cancer and then you'll get a bill for 50k, 100k or more.    You'll get health care and someone else will pay the bill

No you try and pay attention Im passing you the smallest risk b/c thats the only portion of the risk that you will be viable for. Yes that small portion of risk carries with it a higher value monetarily but its still the smallest portion of risk brain child.

That's why you have insurance and that's the burden that you've chosen to pass on to the rest of us

It's really too bad their isn't some cheap (or free) public option available to you so you're not a potential burden on your family or society.

I have actually no income at the moment as Ive said Im unemployed but I do have money as I saved instead of going out and putting 20's etc. on my truck like alot of those idiots with no health care you want to finance. You would basically be financing their idiotic lifestyle and lack of control to live within their means...
