I got a high end bottle of rum once as a gift - sipped it straight up.

I grew up on Captain and coke {like a lot of people

} but it started giving me heartburn so I hadn't had rum for years.

A couple weeks ago I caught up with a mate I hadn't seen for a while.

Friday night was a 4 am finish. Saturday was 6 am. I've almost recovered.

Well, if XPlor! is within a reasonable distance, it's worth going off the the inclusive for a day. I did two years ago.

Drove right by it but since we were only there for four days we didn't do it.

Weird place we stayed at. place was an awesome hotel with a very friendly staff. two pools including a swim up bar, a bunch of restaurants and bars all on site and everything was all inclusive.

...but the food was just "Meh" and the ocean was rocky {the only time I went in a tripped and cut up my leg

} and they have a huge seaweed problem

. you literately had to wade through 15 yards of it just to get through it to the ocean. it's everywhere on the beach and they actually had cleaners everyday raking it up and burying it.
