she meant to say liberal families should be off limits
Tony, I don't know how long you've been posting here, but I recall a few years ago when pumpster posted a candid photo of one of the bush daughters (Jenna I think) on vacation. She was changing into her swimsuit and unfortunately she accidently revealed a bit too much in the process. Call it "a wardrobe malfunction". And of course, one of the stalkerazzi was there to capture the split second moment her anatomical parts were revealed.
I specifically remember calling foul on that one, as well as stating that despite how much we disliked Bush and the job he was doing, his daughters should be off limits. I have always maintained that it was wrong to drag innocents who do not seek or covet the spotlight into the fray simply because of who they are related to. In Palin's case, her daughter and the pregnancy ARE relevant because both Palin and her daughter paraded her pregnant belly infront of the cameras in an effort to push her Mom's agenda. They are not only a reflection of the type of parenting Palin provides, ...but also a reflection of how flawed her policies are. Palin hails herself as a family values politician, championing policies of abstinence only. These policies have clearly failed in her household. It is reasonable for us to question her ability to make them succeed if rolled out on a national front.
I've also criticized those who have taken cheap shots at McCain's daughter as well.
