To those of you not familiar with this cowboy let me introduce to you all Shelby Starnes.

Shelby can be seen posting the SAME threads about his greatness and wisdom as he in another 'guru for hire' at the following boards:

bodybuilding.com
probodybuilding.com
musclemayhem.com

Day after day, hour after hour he will cut and past the same questions/answers about him and his ability to tell you to "lower your carbs down to 25g with Meal-1, Meal-2 and Post-Workout" on each and every board. The split second he feels he is being challenged he immediately runs to the closest moderator and pleads his case for the question to be removed.

Over at Rx he was SPAMMING himself talking about how he went from a welterweight to a light-heavyweight with the same crisp conditioning simply by upping his calories. Nothing more. I sweated him asking him if he thought we were all fools. He quit posting there until I was banned. Again.

Asked POINT BLANK why he never posts on Getbig.com when Getbig has the most traffic and most GUESTS at any given time than all other boards combined his reply was...

" Getbig? Never heard of that site. Are they respectful over there? "

When asked how a guy can move up 2 weight-glasses..err, classes and still keep that conditioning simply by increasing his carbs he tried selling me that " cochamine and a little green tea " in the morning keeps him from gaining fat.

Turns out there is some truth to that. After a few calls and a few texts to a few motherfkers it turns out he bought into the company a while back and has a large piece of it.

Who exactly hired Palumbo? Shelby? He doesn't do his own diets?

I posted this clients pics not too long ago, when we were at the 10 week point.

Well he got onstage this past weekend for his first bodybuilding competition ever, and ended up placing 5th out of 14 light heavies.

Total transformation time, 13 weeks.

Drug free.

That's what I thought. It's a free country but I figured as a trusted and respected TROPONIN nutritionist he would stick to the basic Troponin principles and do it himself and if anything pick Justin's brain or Nate's brain or Elaine's brain if he came to a plateau.

His reply to why he would work with Dave was...

" So I could further understand the ketogenic diet and master it so I can apply it to my own clients who may be btter suited for it. "

Don't bother asking him about his obvious site injection scars and suspiscious biceps and delts. He'll have a mod zap that faster than Mindspin zapping a comment about Amanda Savell or David Jacobs for Ron on this site.

TBH, I don't see what the problem is here. So he wanted to try a ketogenic diet, and use it on clients. Why not? Nothing necessarily wrong with trying different things. It would be worse if someone said a certain type of diet is the best forever and always and never considering other methods. Like Palumbo (no carbs). Or like Milos (carbs always).
