maybe when he spoke of muntzer-like conditioning he meant when muntzer was in his casket.
Because of Goodrum's uneducated sounding voice, inner tube sized lips and back-hills inbreeding it sounded like he said Munzer-like Conditioning.  But in reality he said Munster-like Conditioning.  So he did acheive that

Lockheed was a great gig but I was laid off but I wasn't surprised because they do that all the time and they tell you that before you even get there.  But I got to see some pretty cool shit while I was there that some people would kill to see.

Ikon had slow sales so they laid off me a about 9 other engineers and closed up their repair facility in Piedmont where I worked.  Now all they do sell those piece of shit Ricoh machines.  They are easy as fuck to fix but they do break down easily.  A Canon machine would go for years at a time before something happened to it and usually it was be the fuser lamp coils or dirty mirrors which took me only an hour to repair.

Alltel was bought out by Verizon but to look more profitable they closed down 2 of their regional offices at which I was unfortunate to work at the one in Greenville.  That one I would say was the worst because it was broadcasted on the news and there were a bunch of news cameras and shit outside filming all of us leaving out the door for the last time.  Over 300 people including myself got the the shaft rather than the elevator that day.

Its prob worse than it was before but I don't have to worry about it anymore

Holy shit! It just flows from your cum-hole doesn't it.  You got FIRED cause you knew nothing and couldn't even clean the toilets good.  And you might think people would kill to see what you saw but not all of us is into seeing dried shit on the ring of a toilet bowl.  No thanks.  I bet you got the shaft alright.  How shafts did you get that day.  jeez Goodrum it is nice you include all of us in your fairly tales but it is getting out of hand.

Vince, I noticed you only charge $30.00 per session, you can turn that $30.00 into $90.00 if you did triples. I don't know how many you train people you train per day, but $90hr is a hell of a lot better than $30.

Services

Personal Training:  $30.00 dollars per session (Jackson County Residents Only).  Please call to schedule an appointment as available times are limited.  All sessions will be conducted at the Jackson County Recreation Center.

Online Personal Training:  $15.00 a month. Includes customized training routine, nutritional meal plan, and journal software.

Business Seminars:  Are you having trouble marketing a nutritional supplement for your network marketing business.  If so then pick up the phone and give me a call.  My group seminars will give you and the members of your organization all the information and instruction to sucessfully market your nutritional supplements and ultimately build your downline.

Fee:  $3000.00 USD

Note:  A 1000.00 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date.  If your location is more than 50 miles away from Sylva, NC then additional travel expenses are required, either .20 per business mile or round trip business class airfare from Atlanta GA.  Hotel and food expenses are also required if an overnight stay is nessesary.  I am also available for travel to Dubai and other international countries.

Holy fuck Coach what the hell are you doing.  You are feeding the fire that is Goodrum.  Don't give him any ideas.  Now he is going to come back with some non-witty response why he is fair and doesn't like to take advantage or something like that.  He might have " offed" himself today till you gave him another idea.

Yeah, it sucks ass but the rates are set by Jackson County so I don't have any control over the rates for training people there.  I am however thinking about doing group training using the Lebert Bars and changing 5 dollars a head to see how that goes.  My fees for home personal training is $100 dollars a session with discounts on package deals however I won't be doing any home training until spring which is why I don't have that listed.

As far as online training, I use the same thing you use, Coach which is Fitness Generator.  Its a great service and easy to maintain

Just to let you folks know, my primary income is from my fitness stores and my affiliate sites and forums I run.  There's really not enough business in Sylva to make a living doing personal training.

Janitorial services were outsourced by another company.  Food was brought by a guy in a solar powered truck who drove around the base all day.  There were more contractors than actual workers at Lockheed.

Melvin, can you state what your job title was at those engineering companies? Please don't say assistant to the manager!

There is a Curves in Sylva and Smokey Mtns Gym. Surely there are enough people there for a certified trainer such as yourself? Have you advertised in the local papers? Just curious about why you don't do home training until the spring.

There is no Curves in Sylva anymore and Smokey Mtn Gym is where I used to train people but its about to close down.  I use Craigslist to advertise and I'm not training people at home right now because I'm too busy to travel to Asheville where the majority of business is from.

By the way, my job title was...well......"systems engineer"..... ::)

Maybe you should buy that Smokey Mtn Gym and turn it around with your marketing skills? How big is it and what kind of facilities and equipment do they have? It is probably a poorly equipped regional gym that is in every small town.

What systems were you engineering? Is that a fancy name for cleaner?

What was your title?

Lockheed Martin doesn't hire engineers without degrees from decent schools.  Obviously if you were doing ITT sh*t that's a different story, but that is not the same thing as being an engineer.
Valhalla awaits.

Most guys who make gym equipment call themselves engineers. So that term can have a wide application. I don't call myself an engineer because I respect those who have gone to university. In Goodrum's case he isn't covered by any wide, popular meaning of the word 'engineer', so another pipedream from him. Maybe he saw the Wizard of Oz and really, truly believed if he had a diploma he would be intelligent!

Can't someone who has a business over there try to get a report from Lockheed about Goodrum? You know, tell them he has applied for a job as an engineer! Should be enlightening.

I am pretty sure Goodrum got a model train for his birthday from Vissy so now he calls himself an engineer.

There seems to be two games being played out in Goodrum threads. Hapless Melvin tries every means to establish some credibility on muscle forums to no avail. No matter where or when he posts he gets called a bullshitter and a guy who exaggerates all day long. The guy clearly has done very little in bodybuilding or via making a living. That he is content living in a trailer in the backwoods of North Carolina is the stuff of legends and or desperate people who can't cope in normal society.

No matter what Goodrum posts the threads end up lampooning him like the buffoon with no shame deserves. Why he has to pretend he is someone he is not is a mystery but he doesn't fool anyone on Getbig.

The second game is the good citizens who try to sort Melvin out and point out the bullshit that he is posting. Keith and others do this on a regular basis and it has no effect on the hide of Goodrum because he has no shame at all. All of the bagging Goodrum receives merely motivates him to one day show everyone how wrong we are. In other words, you can knock forever on the door of the deaf man and clearly Goodrum is deaf.

If people repeat the same behaviour over and over expecting a different result then that can indicate a lack of intelligence or a personality disorder. Goodrum doesn't seem to be intellectually challenged but he is no candidate for Mensa, either. Keith and I are flogging a dead horse! I guess it is just a way to have some fun. Getbig is pretty boring without the likes of wannabes like Goodrum and other self-styled heroes who will never amount to anything in bodybuilding. I swear I have given away more trophies than Goodrum will ever win!

You would think that after advertising as a personal trainer and not getting clients the guy would go back to lockeed, i'm being serious in asking him how he could expect anyone to hire him. He cant be the only trainer in town.

Well, this thread has seriously gone South of the Border. I don't have to lie about my work history because it just the plain truth.  I had the opportunity to work with some great people and see the future of aviation that you people will have to wait many years to see.

And Cavalier, you are a complete dumb-ass for suggesting that Lockheed doesn't hire people without degrees.  Did I not say that I was hired while I was in school.  Put 2 and 2 together...oh wait.

I was successful in the field of engineering and I'm now successful in the field of health & fitness.  So I'll just shake you haters off with one finger.   8)
