Probably more like 2016-2020. But the shit is definitely gonna hit the fan.
Throughout history there have been huge world wars and huge global turmoils. Right now the situation is perfect for another one to happen again. The USA looks like the Roman Empire before it's crash, and the global situation resembles pre World War 2 in many ways.
chinese like most people on earth nowadays are more interested into getting an internet access to watch porn, learn stuff using wikipedia to get a better job, so they can drive a 4x4 and finally sit home behind a giant flat screen watching naked women or sports while drinking a beer.
There wont be any more world wars. Not in the world we re living in.
Capitalism and socialism are mutating into a a unique, new kind of ideology that is spred by the mass medias.
Look at irak, you dont hear much about it anymore, cause all the crazy assholes are dead, and the peaceful , smarter people are returning to work while seeing their quality of life increase since the americans settled there.
Nobody wants to die for a bullshit ideology in our modern world, people want to money and tranquility. Youths have access to the internet as soon as they re 7 or 8 y o... they re getting smarter sooner than ever in the history of mankind -even if most em are getting stupider- and none of em want to "fight" or "die" for some cause that makes no sense at all to them.
This is what america wanted, this is what europe, russia, japan wanted, that is what more and more people in the middle east and in china want, with the internet spreading constantly everywhere even there.
You haveyoung people folowing dancing with the stars on a laptop in fucking pakistan. This is the new world we live in. They dont buy into their fathers or grandfathers bullshits about "holy war against the infidels"... As old people die and are replaced by young people who have an easier than ever access to everything they could dream of, "wars" dont mean anything anymore.
You guys live in the past, seriously. Lot of things changed, very fast, in the last decades.
Now the real question is, what will people do when they ll all have everything they want?
Is this the true meaning of life?
Nobody knows where we re heading with this concept of a world where there are no countries anymore, where everyone has the same home, tv, car, etc, has an equal and growing access to the same free knowledges, and where anyone can travel wherever he wants one day and then go somewhere else the following day.
My thought is that more equal access to everythign will only improve, increase competition. Nowadays anyone can study, learn and get smart, nobody s going to prevent you from doing so. The only problem is that as people get better, smarter, then competition will rise.
The search for equality only leads to more competition. Ironic isnt it.
