This just isn't true.  I could take all the steroids in the world and I would still be a very average BBer.  If you gain 10 pounds of quality muscle and keep it, you'd be fortunate.  But like I said in the other thread, to say this 10 pounds of muscle was "from steroids" would be misstating things. 

It's your body though, do whatever you want to with it.  I feel as though you could gain alot of muscle naturally before considering gear though...  Just my 2 cents.

 I wouldn't do gear for at least 6 more months. And I probably won't even do it at all.

 But i've known lots of gear users. And I saw all of them make radical tranformations. At the very least they gained a solid 15 pounds and looked pretty lean. But a lot of guys made ridiculous gains, like 50 lbs in less than 2 years. I saw a lot of 140 pound guys blow up to about 200 within a year or maybe a bit more. I saw a lot of little guys turn into 220+ pound beasts over the span of maybe 2 years.

 So what you say just doesn't really jive with what i've seen.

After all is said and done.  Bodybuilding is just a hobby for guys like you and me.  There is no sense in basing your self-worth on your physique as your body could change in an an instant for any number of reasons.  It's nice to look good and be strong.  But a lot of these jokers on here take themselves way too seriously and are trying to compensate with thier biceps for what they lack in other, more meaniningful, areas of their lives.

 I agree. Lifting is a hobby and I like to be strong and lean, but a lot of these guys are taking it WAY too far. Obsessive compulsive and full of insecurites. Being led around by macho competetive instincts. It's better to just be laid back about things.

your scaling your pic "up" to try to make it look like your arms are close in size, and even in the oversized pic, your arms are still smaller...

groink looks around 6' and your admittedly around 5'7, so your pic should be scaled "down" not "up"...
