Levi Stubbs...in my opinion one the most underrated great voices of the Motown era R&B singers. One of my all-time favorites. A truly distinctive, masculine style. R.I.P.
And who doesn't think of the end of "Cooley High" when hearing this song?  :)

Probably the best cover of this song. in 1996 Prince dropped his platinum album Emancipation. This was the first time Prince covered a song on a studio album. Tank I can't make you love me was a later cover of this song.
