I'd feel really great if I got the opportunity to vote for him for President.

The amount of partisan hackery on this forum is staggering. For eight years, the left rightly denounced Bush's assault on civil liberties and now that a guy with a D beside his name is in office and doing the same things we get silence at best and apologetics at worst and when a guy stands up to challenge it he gets denounced because he has a R beside his name. When he ran originally, there were Rand Paul banners hanging from overpasses up and down I75 in Kentucky.  People on facebook have been going nuts with the #standwithrand stuff.

I like that he's Ron Paul Lite... I would think he could attract almost all Republicans from MCWAY and Beach Bum types to people like me and Bindare.  He's even got democratic followers.
