Not a bad list. The most obvious omission is The Who. Who's Next came out in '71. That's when they really started to peak.
One of my all-time favorites is The Outlaws. In their prime, they blow most of the bands on that list off the stage.
Another underrated '70s band was Foghat. Foghat Live is one of the all-time greatest "single" live albums. Two others that come to mind are Cheap Trick: Live at Budokan, and Lou Reed: Rock and Roll Animal.
If you're going to include solo rockers, Ted Nugent, Peter Frampton and, of course, Clapton would have to make the list.
