Bush Nirvana Filter
Filter sucked. In my opinion Nirvana kinda sucks too. All three of them were pretty shitty musicians. Bush? They're alright I guess.

Red Hot Chili Peppers were more of a 80's band. They sold out in the 90's.

Slipped my mind.....yep, they were great.... take out Weezer and put them in, even though i LOVE "say it ain't so" .
I just saw a concert of STP taped this year in Chicago. They sounded fantastic and the new stuff held its own

Nirvana STP Pearl Jam Soundgarden Alice in Chains
Grunge rock never recovered from from Cobain's death and was nearly end by the middle of the 90s.
Maybe Tool... but I agree with Groink they need to cut somee of the bullshit out of every song. I also like Limp Bizkit in the 90s too

I happen to agree that their more recent work has a tendency to be overblown, but that stuff came out in the 2000 decade. Aenima, which IMO is their best album, came out in 1996. Truth be told, with few exceptions, even the great bands follow the pattern of having a good run that lasts for about five years, then they jump the shark.

I think Nirvana is one of the most overrated bands in history.
Their musicianship is crap.
They just got famous because the Seattle music scene (grunge) became hip and Nirvana was one of the biggest names in the scene.
But they are basically like a punk rock band. Shitty songs, all attitude and emotion.

Great first record. Buckcherry about the same time. Solid debut, too - Guns meets Aerosmith meets DC. Then they got stupid.
