X2. I am 6'2" and was trying to explain to some 5'4" midget how I am just not built for squats. Of course being 21years old he proceded to lecture me how you MUST squat blah blah blah. Just like you MUST bench too right? Idiot.
dunno it might be just bullshit, and excuses. I'm 6'4 and used to do lame quarter rep squats with 240 pounds. A half year ago after a quick reality check i decided to actually learn squatting properly. So i dropped the weight, and started to make deep squats with 100 pounds. Naturally i didn't had any problem doing them

Now i can do it with 200 pounds, so i guess this "being tall" thing was just an excuse to make lame and not so exhausting quarter reps... You just need to let your ego outside the gym, and let your muscles and joints get used to the deep squats.
PS: i know that 200 pounds arent too much. Thanks.
