LOL at needing 3-4 spotters/fanbois for dumbell presses, etc. He does come across as a prima donna... I doubt Dex would ever remove plates from a machine himself.

branch doesnt always seem to train that way, but if you asked him he would tell you that is. if you read his columns in md he has talked about the importance of good form many times. ronnie always trained higher reps, and tried to keep good form. his powerlifting in his videos is a far cry from what he always did.
certainly alot of huge dudes got that way by powerlifting and not paying atention to form. but the bext bodybuilders all know that weight is second to form.
I have never seen Branch use anything resembling strict form in any of his videos. One of the MD video intros even said Branch was now training very strict using peak contraction and it was the worst form I'd seen from him. Of course, almost every pro says weight doesn't matter and they always train strict, or maybe it's their ghost writers who say that

I would have to disagree about the best bodybuilders knowing weight is second to form. The majority use far from text-book form and far from full range of motion and often way too much weight forcing them to involve lots of secondary muscles. Some champions have very nice form, such as Dorian, but the majority don't.
Regardless of form, muscle responds to tension. The more tension you can generate the more you'll grow. The Ronnie bounced front squats were horrible form-wise and tendon killers but the tension generated from that is insane.

Form is also something that no one ever seems to change. It becomes ingrained very early on. Just like posing style.
