He was in better condition at ~195 lb last week though. Thats aboutt 7-10 more lean mass then the last time he competed like 4 years ago  8)
I don`t think so.  From the pics I have seen, he wasn`t as lean as he has been in the past.  A good 7-10 lbs away from his best ever conditioning.

Agreed.  This is shattering your own self image as you are finally getting "it" that you need to lose over 100 lbs and then some.

You of course will NEVER do it, so its really a worthless thread on you part to even start.

yes you are right, I will never lose 100 pounds
its not my goal

why on gods green earth would it ever be my goal?
Im never ever competing.
I absolutely cant comprehend a single reason why I would want to lose 100 pounds?

60 pounds absolutely, 100 is plain retarded. I dont wanna look like a beanpole and freeze in the winter

Don`t ask stupid questions then such as starting this thread.  You want to look like the average overweight supermarket stocker is fine.  I`d rather look like a ripped Cancer Patient/confederate Prisoner, but that is just my opinion and preference.  Plus I like the health benefits of low bodyfat and Calorie restriction.

Look around you. Anyone can be fatlike you.  It takes nothing to do so.  :D

I agree
it is way fuking easier for a lazy fuk like me

I totally admit it
but i have dropped over 20 and am trying.
And I fully admit I will never be as lean as you. I dont have that drive and determination

heres a legit question
I have read multiple times that maintaining a low bodyfat like yours weakens the immune system. Is this true? I have no idea

Plus when you start getting super lean you start to lose muscle... its natural...  not saying you'll be exactly that weight but sometimes you just end up lighter than you think you would....

If you are 278 at 30% bf and say you wanna get down to 3%, ideally with no muscle loss you would lose 75 lbs

278 X 0.27 = 75 lbs

275-75 = 203 at 3% bf

but we dont live in an ideal world and you are bound to lose some muscle so say you'd be 180-190 at 3%  ;)

Your math is correct, but how much body fat that he has on him is irrelevant. Whether he is 203 lean body mass with 7 pounds of fat or he is 203 lbm with 50lbs of fat, he is still 203 lbn, get it? For Adam to say that he has to get down to 150's to be a 3% is illogical. That would mean that he is holding an extra 50 pounds of muscle simply because he is fat? This would mean that the fatter we get the more muscle we hold?  There is no logical reason he needs to lose another 50 pounds of muscle to just to get to 3%. A well thought out diet plan can put him at 215 and very lean.

There are no health benefits for having a very low bodyfat level or calorie restriction. Of course it all depends on what your definition of BF % is healthier and how much calorie restriction that you are specifically talking about.

uh, and you call yourself a "nutritionist".   Please Google CRON diet or calorie restriction optimum nutrition.

The health benefits are too numerous to list, especially for living a lifetime cancer free and heart disease free- the two major killers.  Also this method is proven for extending lifespans across the board for all organism.
