it's hard sometimes not to laugh at this place when you got a thread with people actually taking seriously Coach vs Alex. say what you want about Joe but the dude had one hell of a physique back in the day and still looks a thousand times better than blimpAlex. Alex has been a fat fuck all his life and his arms would look even worse dieted down, which he couldn't do anyway.

Nope... i did the 2005 eastern seaboard show and the dude that placed ahead of me in heavy weight was like 5'4 230 and i was 6ft 206...he killed me.

You don't know too much about diet do you? Joe had a time limit so his calories had to be low no matter what he ate, so he suffered some no big mystery.

Hmmmm, you're funny seriously. Last time Joe dieted he ate anything he wanted although it was not everyday mind you. I love to see anyone get lean and look good so good luck to you seriously, BUT.... there is no way you are gonna smoke Joe.

Why not add in a bodyweight bench press contest, and a timed 40 yard dash, and a 12 min Cooper run test to make this more of an athletic contest, and not just a beauty pagent

Actually there is no such thing as a junk diet or clean diet, but people including me like to use this term to clarify what types of food they will be eating. FOOD IS FOOD! Now, as far as I'm concerned sugar for example is not food so when someone says that they are going to eat a Kit Kat then that would classify as partial food and the rest non food as in junk ie chemicals food dyes sugar etc. Anytime you put something in your body that gives you no nutritional value could be classified as "junk".

I'm not debating a calorie is a calorie, in fact that is true since "by definition" it is not possible for a calorie to be anything else but a calorie. Hope you can follow that.

what i'm saying is you are wrong.

1 g of sugar provides 4 calories - if it has no nutritional value how does it bend the laws of physics and provide energy when ingested ?

If sugar has no nutritional value then how's come it is just as effective as any other carbs at replenishing lowered glycogen stores that are brought about from a hard training session? A can of Coke replaces gylcogen stores just as effectively as a bowl of pasta does.
