I expect some Bollywood star to hold the record.
They turn out ass-loads of movies every year.
India made 948 movies in 1990 alone.

As for the American market, Duke Wayne holds the Guiness World Record for most leading roles in film.
IMDB has Mel Blanc in the top spot for number of "movie credits."

I've never seen any of his films, except pieces of True Grit.  Are there any "must sees"  Huh

I'm not a big fan of westerns.
Of the few I've sat through, most have been Clint Eastwood flicks.
My ex always loved The Quiet Man.

I've seen parts of Hatari & Oregon Trail, but I don't think I've ever watched a John Wayne film in its entirety.

I am not a fan of John Wayne (i've seen a few of his films)

But the one that I do like and think people should see is The Shootist (knowing how it relates to Wayne's health at the time is what makes it better)

When did they pass the law that Owen Wilson & Jen Anniston must appear in every other movie made?

I'm glad that trend has softened some.
For a while, it was getting rediculous.
