While the other candidates are meeting leaders and securing funds/developing relationships needed to win GOp nomination, Trump is like a little sideshow, being as obnoxious and over the top as possible.

I was talking to someone about this the other day.  As much as I like his sound bites, I think he should wait.  He doesn't think he's ready.  Very similar to Obama acknowledging he wasn't ready.  Some of those people need more time in the trenches.  I think that is true of Palin.  She may have become more of a rising star had she finished out her term and maybe served in the Senate. 

Frankly, I'd rather see people in their 50s and 60s running.

I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun. With today’s Internet technology we should be able to tell within 72-hours if a potential gun owner has a record.
