Never tried but some of my friends have done it during the winter. On Sunday I played Shennecosset in Groton Ct....cool course.over 100 years old.a couple of the holes are right on the ocean. ...stunk it up and shot a 94 |

87 on Sat  ...2 bad hole kept me from a better score but I also got lucky. on 18, a short tree lined par four I hit a 5 iron to keep out of trouble  sliced the shit out of it into the woods.re-teed and when I got to the fairway there was my first ball sitting i9n the fairway! |

shot a 98 sat, didnt do to bad off the tee and my mid irons were actually decent but the chipping and putting werent good.
The drinking didnt help....

Played 18 plus another 12 on Sat.then 18 on Sun.we played in the Catskills NY on a cool mountain course. great views and leafs were changing.kinda crappy on Sat,misty,overcast,and some drizzle but we had fun and started drinking in the afternoon 86 on Sat and 87 on Sun..could have been a little worse but my cuz gave me a couple 2-1/2ft putts. could have made them but could have missed them. |

LOL thats a great line Played Houston Oaks a private country club saturday, shot a 98. Actually didnt play to bad but I got a few bad breaks on some drives that either hit cart paths and jumped into some woods or went into some thick rough and got lost. |

Just left the range with my head held low. This Golf outing Sunday with my buddy's will not be good. I am thinking I should get hammered before we play so I can have an excuse..lol.
First time playing in 4-5 years. Best ever when I was playing a lot was 84.
