Our 4th dropped out and my friend added a father of a kid on his baseball team. Me: "What to you do for work Tom/" Tom: "I'm a golf pro....." So, THAT had something to do with it. But it wasn't all him - whole team contributed.... |

82 on Sunday,best round in a couple of years.
I made a bunch of putts then on 18 I hit my drive dead right into the woods.the ball pops out and ends up right in the middle of the fairway right at the 150 marker.skull my next shot and it rolls all the way up onto the green and stops 2 inches from the cup for birdie.

Terrible round yesterday. No excuses but I'm gonna make excuses  took 5 freaking hours to play.waited on every single shot. Played on a NYC course and they are notorious for slow play.the week before I played in under 4 hours. |

I was once playing Golden Tee at a bar and hit an amazing shot (can't remember what it was) and it got added to like their archives of great shots that they use for promotional purposes I assume.

Crazy. There was another 300yd plus par 4 where he miss hit his driver and hit a low bullet and still ended up right near the green. Unlike Rory and Day he doesn't look like he's swinging with everything he's got. |

I haven't in a long while, but Houston and Harris County have some fun public courses.
Just a couple of miles from home, Harris County has one of the few par three courses in the state. Par three is an abbreviated golf experience...you can play a round in 90 minutes.
